I think sometimes you just have to turn a blind eye. He likes them and if someone else says something maybe he'll change his mind. But as long as they are in okay condition, you can't see his "package" clearly outlined or anything crude/rude, just smile and wish him a good day at school. There are a few things my DD owns that I don't "love" but she likes them so as long as they are decent and don't break any dress codes I let it go. Better to focus on school and things that count, if we nit pick them on every little thing they just shut us out completely.

Hey, isn't your washer acting up? Kind of catching onto some clothes and ripping them up during the spin cycle? *wink*

You take the jeans and toss them in the trash--ooops!!!!

My DD had a pair of jeans that had some small "stylish" rips in them--no biggie!

I agree with Kristen's mom on this one. You have to choose your battles, and if the clothing isn't indecent, just ugly, it's not worth it.

BTW, it doesn't always help to tell them you hate their look. My DS, who is almost 11, has the world's most horrible hair. It's shaggy

Okay, excuse my language, but this IS an actual style...I believe sincerely they're called 'nut-huggers'!

My son doesn't wear them, thank goodness!

But hey...am I the ONLY 80's chick who wore Jordache and Gloria Vanderbuilt jeans?

HAHAHAHAHA, you're hilarious Denise. Let's pray that fashion statement doesn't decide to make a comeback.
