If someone was visiting your town for the first time, what would be the one place you'd tell them they just had to go see.

Bonus - What's your cure for the common cold?

Tough question there are so many things to see..... So i would have to ask questions..... it depends on what that person's interests were...... as to what to see first.

Well, I also live in a small town, so we'd probably hang around my house as well!

Hmmmmm We live in a town of about 25,000 and the one big draw is Lake Michigan. The beach and pool are loads of fun in the right weather. If we could leave town, our forest preserve has great bike/walking/running paths. That's always a treat. If we could go even farther we could go into Chicago (about 40 minutes away), I would probably take them to the museum of their choice (art, history, science, planetarium, or aquarium) or a theater production.

Oh common cold... Rest, vitamin C, and if desperate, Sudafed...

Everyone who visits us for the first time always wants to go to the Nittany Lion Statue and get a picture taken... We would take them to see the rest of the Penn State campus and we would make them get ice cream at the Penn State Creamery. :)

Common cold: I SWEAR, if you start taking Zinc tablets the minute you start feeling a cold coming on, you can chase it away.

Red Rocks Ampitheater!

My cure for the common cold consists of hugs, chicken noodle soup and some some tv time!

Well, at Christmastime, it'd be the 2 houses that offer walk-through Christmas displays. But, otherwise, the downtown area--it's very quaint. (A month from now, I'll have a different answer, but I'll leave it at that!)

Cold: Vitamin C, rest, Sudafed, & Tylenol
