I'm thinking of changing my class name and description (as I've said many times here) from sports conditioning. I'm not sure it matters any more since we barely get new members. So, do you think of this--I'd like to tweak it to make it seem more fun. It's really dry and boring right now and the class is really high energy. I've just tweaked it some (edit). What do you think?

Back to basics: Challenge your whole body using a variety of moves and equipment (stability ball, step, BOSUs, gliders, jump ropes, etc) with little or no choreography. We’ll start with basic moves and build on them to get in a high energy cardio, strength and core workout.

I'd love to have someone like you in class (well, minus the broken toe). It's nice having high energy participants in class.

Good suggestion--I'll add that. You're right that I don't want it to turn off advanced students, just as it turned off beginners. BTW, one reason I'm thinking of it is that I've started attracting a lot of seniors to my class. It's great because they've realized they can do it and they love the workout. The funny thing is that the class is made of either people who are super fit and high intensity or low intensity seniors. There's no one in between.

A little change--how about this:

Back to basics: Work your whole body using a variety of moves and equipment (stability ball, step, BOSUs, gliders, jump ropes, etc) with little or no choreography. We’ll start with basic moves and build on them for a high energy cardio, strength and core workout to challenge all levels from beginning to advanced.

Thanks for your suggestions! I've submitted it to the director but called it Cardio Blast: Back to Basics.

I suggest you also make a point of telling your regulars that it's the same class they are used to, so they don't think you are changing the class they like.

Good idea. Thanks!
