Do you plan your workout for the week, month, longer, or just wing it day to day? Does it get based on a training/running plan, classes at your gym, free days/weather,...?

I tend to "wing it", day by day, because there are so many unexpected events occuring between work requirements and my families' extracurricular events.

It's driving me crazy that I don't have a plan. I've been taking whatever classes are at the gym but it's not optimal. I need to start putting something together. I like to base a plan on what the gym offers, what the weather is like and what I need to get in but it's not happening.
