What ab exercise always has you feeling it the next day? I need something good. I don't want weighted work. Why am I drawing a blank?

I often get sore from one I haven't done in a while. How about these two?

Stirring the pot - Elbows go on top of the ball and feet out behind you so you're in a plank position on the ball. Keeping your core still, use your elbows to move the ball in one direction and then go the opposite direction.

Dynamic hold - Same position as earlier except your hands are on the ball this time. Try to maintain a neutral spine and hold. If it's too easy, you could alternate lifting legs.

We just did that yesterday, both actually, in ball class. They are good ones! We went to one leg. I've also had the class stand, put their arms on the ball and then roll out, like a standing abs roller, to a plank. Rolling back in is challenging.

Ok, I THOUGHT the core class I did was just "ok", but judging from how my abs feel today, I guess it was really good!

I just got back from the gym. I did the first one but from a standing position. And, I did crunches on the ball w/ my feet on the wall but I held a handweight (I know I said unweighted) overhead, brought it up at a diagonal to the opposite hip. Effective. I'll let you know tomorrow how it was!

On Saturday (at that boot camp class) I did a LONG plank with hands on the stability ball.

Do your hands get sweaty or do your wrists get tired? I love that move but those stop me (lol, though you don't have old wrists).

What boot camp class did you do?

Feeling nothing today. I need to hold the plank longer or something.
