Running and Lower Body?

Running and Lower Body?

Hey everyone! I'm back at the gym again (after a very long time!) and am loving it more than ever. I do have a quick question though. Is it okay to do cardio, such as running, on the same day you do lower body weights?

It depends on the kind of running. If you're seriously running, no, but if you're just running to get in some cardio, I would.

I never do strength training and run on the same day.

Assuming you can handle the load of both, it is okay. However, for safety's sake, I would do your strength training BEFORE cardio. You'll be fresher and less likely to injure yourself.
