Since the weather is getting nice out, do your workouts change once winter has passed?

I think both of those burn more calories than Zumba, especially the latter.

"rest day moving"?!?!?!

No. Oxymoron, lady.

Rest day moving should only be shopping or sex. :)

I think it depends on the instructor but I haven't found one who gives the workout I want. I see it on youtube and some look really good. I think of it as my rest day moving.

Speaking of zumba, I tried it last week.

Yeah, there are activities that I don't consider workouts, like Zumba or walking (keeping in mind that I'm really strolling, not walking). I think walking a dog, for me, would be like that.

I love multi-step. It was great when you had a big class full of people who could do it. I even liked just watching it. I did it the day I went into labor w/ my son and the teacher joked, "Whatever you do, don't run over the pregnant woman!" I think I made her nervous.

The marathon was a challenge, not one that I'd planned to do, like it wasn't on my bucket list or anything. I'm really glad I did it, not just the marathon but the huge training that goes with it. People on the board had to put up w/ my whining the whole time so thanks to them, too. I lost a few pounds but not a lot--I did eat more than usual but tried to eat healthier, too. I gave up alcohol, coffee. It was a commitment!

Just knowing that there are other people out ther that also are miserable outside makes me feel better.

Yeah, I never feel like walking the dog is a real workout.

I feel for people who have allergies. It's so beautiful out in the spring here and one of the few times where it's nice to be outside and just doing nothing. But, I do notice the layers of pollen on things outside and see how miserable so many people are, including my son. Thankfully, Claritin helps.

1. What is your indoor to outdoor workout ratio once winter is long gone?

About half and half

2. What workouts do you like most outdoors?

Running, although I have other "activities" like hiking, gardening, biking, etc. that I enjoy but don't consider workouts.

3. What workouts do you like most indoors?

Love step but can't find it anymore. Probably the classes I teach.

4. What is your most memorable outdoor workout?

Um...the marathon.
