I agree w/ it, and added to that, too many people stretch while muscles are cold which is a double whammy. I think dynamic stretching is okay but also unnecessary. I might do some dynamic stretching as part of warm up in a class, just to get them moving, but don't when I'm training.

We've always done dynamic stretching as part of warm up for my Karate class but when just working out at the gym I don't stretch. I always see others on the mats before they work out and just watching them makes me sore. lol

Me, too! I see them at TKD do the stretch w/ one leg bent behind them and lie all the way back. Ow.

If I stretch at all before working out, it's after about 5 - 10 minutes of light cardio.
