Golfer's Elbow?
| Tue, 06-08-2010 - 10:09am |
I think I have golfer's elbow. In the last month or so, I have a lot of pain on the inside of my elbow when I do bicep curls (although that's the only time I really have pain, I do notice at other times that it feels weak). If I change the direction and do hammer curls, I don't usually have much pain.
I find this odd because that's really the only repetitive motion that I do and it's only a couple times a week. I'm also not lifting excessively heavy weight. I *can* bicep curl 20 lbs but the elbow pain is preventing it. Even 15 lbs hurts a *lot*. Anybody ever have this and what did you do about it? I so don't want to go see the doc for yet another thing. :P

I feel your pain-literally! I've even been to the ortho about it and his advice: Don't lift so much. Ugg!

The resistance bands are a good idea - why didn't I think of that? :)
I work out at home and only have free weights - no barbells. But yes, the resistance bands might be the way to go for a while. Thanks!
I bought myself one for when my elbow (it's only in my right elbow) is really not doing good.
