Had to drop DH's car off this morning so we went directly to the gym and I did 45 minutes of cardio.

It was -18 C here with a windchill of -35 C when I went for my run this morning. Everyone was telling me I was INSANE for going, but hey! I've spent several hundred dollars on high tech winter running gear and I'M GOING TO USE IT!!!!

And I did quite a few(25-30) negative pull ups and allllllllmost one real one!

Breakfast: leftover WW macaroni and cheese
Snack: blueberries
Lunch: chinese mishmash plate
Dinner: baked chicken parmesan, roasted veggies
Snack: almonds, strawberries, cocoa snaps

Did the high tech gear work?

Yes, all my gear worked. I was very very warm for most of the run! Have you seen this NYT article about exercising in the cold?

I don't like the assisted pullup machine because it doesn't have the same "feel" as just a bar. What would you consider a full pullup? I can get my chin over the bar, but I think a real rep would be to get my elbows to full flexion. Before the negatives, I was doing body rows on the Smith machine. http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/peak24_21_big.jpg

Hi, first of all you guys are a lot more advanced than me at the gym but I'd like to post too as I consider myself gymrat compared to most I know (4x a week) I think it helps to post.
This morning I actually ran on the treadmil! I haven't ran in a long time because I just hadnt felt like it but today I ran and it felt really good. I did about 20min on the treadmil at 5.4. Then I did 20min on the eliptical at level 11.

My normal routine is one day cardio like above the next day 20min bike and then weight machines, I thought I was doing good but after reading your workouts wow! Also the eating thing, I go to the gym so I can eat what I want...so I'm not so strict.
Breakfast: grande chai latte w/soy milk
Lunch: grilled cheese sandwhich on sour dough (I know bad Im seeking comfort food these days)
Snack: Orange
Dinner: Carbonara Pasta+red wine (ok I know not so good on the carbonara)
Snack: WW fudgesicle, says it is only 1 pt. and soooo good!
You guys have inspired me though, maybe I will go 5x to the gym this week!
