Morning---well the jig is up---back to school today--wahhhhhh

Emily got off ok, Jordan just left with DH and Carys has only an hour today with DH& I with her.

I can't believe it is back to school time.

Emily has volleyball after school from 3-6 and that is about it for us

I need to go get my nails filled an I told Carys I would take her to get hers painted.

It is final week for me this week so tons and tons of school work to do!

Morning all! Our weekend was a great one for the kids and pretty relaxing yet productive for me. The kids went to the driving range with dh Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I watched U.S. Open tennis. I don't do golf. :) Dh and I bought a new mattress Sunday. Not really what we needed to do financially but neither of us have gotten a good night's sleep in MONTHS and that's adding to our stress level. Our current mattress is 17 years old so it was about time. It's also incentive to muck out the bedroom between now and delivery. We had a little cookout for just the 4 of us yesterday and we really enjoyed it.

What was supposed to be a quiet restaurant dinner Sunday, just my aunt Barbara (who was just diagnosed with stage IV brain cancer) uncle Chuck and my grandparents, turned into a rather larger (20 people) family gathering to show her the family is here for her. We didn't go because I felt too many people would overwhelm her.

Today I got the kids are off at school, Megan has gymnastics (probably her last week this week), and Evan has a Boy Scout meeting. I also have a room parent meeting this afternoon. I went for a walk this morning and that helped my state of mind a lot. I've also decided that I need to eat better and that will help too. I swear I almost had a breakdown in the grocery store yesterday I was so overwhelmed with life. My outlook is MUCH better today after some time to relax, exercise, and healthy food. YEAH!!!

We didn't do too much this weekend, mostly just hung out at home. We were supposed to go on a little road trip, but I am really afraid of wasps and the thought of being outside a lot totally freaked me out. I kind of had a mini breakdown so we stayed home. I really should see someone about that. I took Kurt, and his friend bowling on Sunday.

I thought Kurt started school today, but it is tomorrow so he is going to the movies instead. Lucky for him!

Congrats on the new dining room set. I have been here a year and I still haven't chose one. I can't seem to find one that I like. I am past just getting something. I feel like I need to be in love with it.

Be sure to let us know how Destinee's first day went.
