DYK Thread for
October

**For those uncertain to what a DYK thread is......**

DYK stands for Did You Know or Do You Know

It is simply a chit chat thread where every thought is written in sentences and each sentences starts with the initials DYK---it is fun, entertaining and a great way to meet the board members

Below are some fun DYK blinkies--feel free to snag any if you like:

kind of. We are still working on it. We are back to work and school and catching up on some things. But normal is hard. after going through this normal is going to change. I have learned a whole lot from this.

DYK Deanna, got your email today....I think 12 is the age where kids start getting distracted easily whether its social (i.e. friends or just daydreaming)

DYK yes, the attitude is amazing...but I'm doing my best to keep it in check now

DYK otherwise it'll only get worse

DYK so now the big question is has Jackie learned anything? Like how not to take a lot of things for granted?

yes i know that feeling. Jackie pulled it on me on Saturday and wanted to stay at home for dinner by herself. I ended up making her go to dinner and sit at the table until I was done. She refused to eat and talk to anyone. I certainly did not allow her to go and sit in the car by herself either. They do not look highly on that in Tx. LOL
but im learning to deal with the attitude. Only waiting for it to get "worse" (help me)

I dont know if she has learned that lesson yet. I hope that the "drastic" does not actually happen in our house. But maybe she has learned that when officials say leave and evacuate...... she will.
