Friday: Took off work early, went to get my ear pierced and then get groceries. Of course the grocery store was insane with everyone buying stuff for the weekend.
Saturday: Rearrange my living room, signing up at the Y, cleaning big-time. Kristen is at
Getting a late start but ... We've actually already had two days off and we went to my parents in WI. We left Thursday, took my grandparents out for lunch for their anniversary, and then went to my parent's house. Thursday evening Megan had a horseback riding lesson. Today she had a second lesson at 9:15, we got back to my parents about 11:30, had lunch and then went apple picking. The kids each picked out a pumpkin too. When we got home from that my dad, dh, and the kids went to the driving range and played three holes on a practice course for fun. After that, we had dinner and hit the road to come home.
As for the rest of the weekend... Evan has swim practice at 9:30 tomorrow, Megan has her first swim meet in the afternoon and I'll probably put the house back together after the carpet cleaning earlier this week. Things are all out of place and moved around so they could actually clean it. Sunday we're headed back to church. We were pretty upset about the way something Evan did was handled a few months ago so we haven't been back. Several people have called or sent letters asking us to come back so we thought it was worth a try. Dh will want to watch the Bears game on Sunday so we'll probably work on the family room while we do that.
Whew! I'm getting tired just thinking about it all. Oh, I have to make sure everyone has clean, decent clothes for Sunday too!
Friday--our 11th anniversary--we did nothing as a couple, but DH, Sherina, her 2 friends & I all went to see our local HS football team beat the team from Biloxi 38-0!
Pretty relaxed weekend thank good ness.
Nothing schedules so we will just relax--may head to Sea World either Sat or Sun depending on the weather.
