Starting next week we will be journaling and keeping track of our progress as far as our personal goals are concerned. Please use this thread to share what your goal is and how you plan to achieve it.


Monday, look for **PERSONAL GOAL CHECK IN** and share with us how the weekend went. If you were successful or did you fall off the wagon.


I am so excited! I think we will be succesful as we'll have each other along the way!

My goals are :


Cook everyday EXCEPT Friday which is Our Family night and we are allowed to eat out. Also, Sunday. We tend to eat out for dinner.


Pack my lunch EVERYDAY! Unless there's lunch club (this occurs once a month here at the office)


Brew my own coffee -- Stay AWAY from Starbucks! I can have 2 a week.


***all of goals are food related but that's where ALL of my money goes***

My main goal is to learn to let go & let God...I've been stressing out a lot lately & all the problems have worked out.

I have a few goals and I think I'll be most successful if I address them one at a time. So my first goal is ***drumroll please**** TO LIVE A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLE. My babysteps for this week are to significantly reduce sugar intake, swap diet soda for water, and get to bed by 10 p.m.

I chose this goal because it is the foundation for all of my others. In order to achieve my others, I must be healthy and confident.

  • go to the gym every day

  • eat healthy every day

  • lose 2lbs by Sunday

My goal for the New Year is to conquer my anxiety. In the past year it has really gotten out of control. I have found myself avoiding doing things for fear of anxiety. So far I have been doing well but it only acts up when my husband is out of town. This is the first day that he has been out of town in the new year so we'll see how I do. I have always been a strong independent person and I don't want to feel weak anymore!

I do work full time and I have not told anyone, including my husband, my anxiety struggles. It will be nice to have some support from you ladies as I obviously don't open up to people.
