Cold & cloudy today....I went running early since I had to take the girls to the sports trainer session at 10am & its a 35 min drive. DH stayed home & then went out to get some fresh bagels. Right now he's helping Jamie work on her science project - they're conducting trials for how long it takes ice to melt & writing the data down.
I may try to bake some cookies in an hr or so....or have the girls bake some of those Joe Corbi coconut macaroons since I bought some from a coworker to help out her son (fundraiser for his soccer team).
Happy Sunday! I am enjoying a very quiet, lovely cup of coffee. Both kids ended up staying overnight at their friend's houses and dh and I had such a nice time with our friends last night. I ate Chilean sea bass, gosh it was YUMMY. A lovely bottle of wine, some grand marnier souffle for dessert, good friends to share it all with. Dh is still asleep so I'm enjoying the quiet of my house. It's even CLEAN! I finally got down all the decorations and vacuumed/mopped the floors yesterday afternoon so not only do I have a quiet house, but one I can enjoy without guilt.
Absolutely nothing going on today. Bliss! I'm trying to declutter around here slowly but surely, since I worked so much yesterday I picked an easy project to do today, so I"m cleaning out the shelves that hold all my recipe books, shouldn't take more than half an hour. I do need to run to the store and that's about my day.

Have a good Saturday!
Hi everyone, the snow has begun, less than an inch over the afternoon but we are expecting heavier this evening, 4 to 8 inches overnight
Kayleigh and I weren't all that successful on our shopping trip to find dresses.
