Share your goal and what you have planned to meet that goal today. How did you do last night?
Drink coffee from home
~I bought coffee beans last night and I am sipping Italian Roast as I type.
Pack a lunch everyday
~ I packed a salad, Triscuits and grapes. YEAH!
Cook dinner everyday
~This is making me nervy...I didn't take anything out and I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off tonight. Maybe I'll do pasta and a salad. That quick and easy, right?
I did good last night. I made Hamburger Helper. While I was out grocery shopping I was STARVING but I did not break down and buy anything. I waited until I got home to eat. I need to set the coffee maker and pack my lunch at night. I find that I am rushing all around in the morning. That jacks up my Zen =)
Blah!!! I didn't do well at all yesterday. Oh well, today is another day and another chance to be healthy.
My goals are:
drink water instead of soda - did really well - no soda at all
significantly reduce sugar - NOT good.. I was really upset with Evan so he tried to be really nice and make me hot chocolate. It was NOT sugar free and he put three huge marshmallows in it. He was really trying to reach out to me and say he was sorry and help me feel better so I would have done some permanent damage had I turned it down. Guess I need to share my goals with the family.
Get to bed by 10 - Missed this one by a mile. Evan was having fits (I hate school, why do I have to do this, etc.) so we had to work out our argument with him and then dh and I had to talk about our approach to his schoolwork going forward. Needless to say, that conversation didn't end until late (11:30). I dragged my butt out of bed to get everyone up early (for various reasons) so I'm relaxin' and planning menus this morning.
My goals for today are the same so I'm going to share them with the family and enlist their help. Then I'll get rid of the cookies (kids don't need them either) and bring some healthy food into the house. It has really helped not to have soda in the house so I'll follow the same logic with food. :)
Get the family on board!
My family knows that I am trying to cut back on Starbucks and eating out. So the kids "police" me. I removed soda from our house last spring and I keep bottled water and Crystal Light packets on hand. It has helped quite a bit! The kids will ask for water when we are out to eat (YEAH)
My picky kids won't eat canned chilli *eyeroll*
My husband suggested hot dogs and salad. I can do that! !
For today:
1. bring lunch each day to school
I have the same problem! (All or nothing... FlyLady says its because we're perfectionists-LOL)
That's kinda how I did my closet. I set a timer last week and did shoes for 15 mins each night. Then on Saturday I had the kids pull everything out and I chipped away at it for 20 mins at a time until it was complete!
Way to go on keeping your goals! You have a long list and you are doing GREAT!
