Actually for all of us its a 4 day wkend since we get Inauguration Day off....good thing because things are already congested at work. My office is on the parade route & the bleachers/review stands are set up outside my building....since its gonna be cold & crowded I have no desire to attend. I don't care who is being inaugurated, I have no desire to be out there esp since there is so much security this yr. My commute to work is already being affected, I can only imagine Tues will be 10x worse!
A coworker has season tickets to our local NBA team & got 4 upper level tickets as a perk. She graciously gave them to me to take the girls & DH...since they're free I can't complain at all! So we're going to the game tonite - Jamie will miss the first soccer developmental class she signed up for to go but nothing else was planned.
Girls are going to the sports trainer tomorrow & I have an appt w/the dealer early Sat morning. I have a CD stuck in my van's CD player but luckily I have a Honda warranty that covers this *phew* Sun only plans we have is Jamie's soccer team training. Monday DH wants to try & go skiing or tubing, we'll see....somewhere in here Rach needs to fit in studying since she is in the midst of final exams. She has her Chinese & science final today (I took her over to my parents house last night so they could help her w/the written Chinese).
Tonight, just relaxing with a glass of wine and a book or t.v. after the exhausting testing week at school.
Tomorrow, up and out in the morning for grocery shopping and errands. When I get home at lunchtime, Dh and the kids should be gone, woo hoo, cub scout cabin camping. Please, please don't let it be cancelled due to frigid temps.
TONIGHT: We ate (Michael made salmon), and he is now supervising the kids' showers. Once they're all bathed and in their 'jamas, we're going to play a family game. Then hopefully Michael and I can have a bit of romantic time. He brought home some champagne, so I think a candlelight whirlpool bath might be in our future. . . Especially since it's sooooooo cold out!!
TOMORROW: My niece has her 5th birthday party, and we're going to that in the afternoon. Matthew is not going. He was invited to a friend's house to go see "Hotel for Dogs" and spend the night. He does have karate in the morning, though. . . Tomorrow night Michael and I are going out to dinner, and my niece is coming to babysit. YAY for Date Night!! :)
SUNDAY: Not much. Church. Grocery shopping. Cleaning. Sleeping. Reading. DYKing. Who knows?
MONDAY: The kids are off, and Michael works all night Sunday night so he will sleep half the day. If it's a bit warmer, maybe we'll go over to my sisters so the kids can play with their cousins and my sister and I can hang out. I'm not sure yet though.

Friday night--the coldest night we've had since Sherina was born--my little family was standing in line to see "Hotel for Dogs"!
