It's fun to see another FLYBaby on the board! I love the idea of this system but haven't quite had the discipline to carry it through. My house is definitely in better shaped than pre-FLYLady and I know if I just make the effort to follow the routines and weekly plan it will be even better.
Go you!! Sounds like you've done a great job on your goals!! Remember, babysteps!! :)
Yeah!!! We all made it through the first week. I must say, knowing I have to share my progress has kept me in line quite a bit. Thanks everyone!!!
I think I did a-ok. My first goal was to drink water instead of soda - I only had ONE soda all week!! That's down from 2-3 cans/day. Pretty good huh?! :)
My second goal was to get to bed by 10:00. I was in bed (not necessarily asleep) by 10:00 5 of 7 days. Not too shabby especially considering that fact that one of the nights Evan had a total meltdown and he and I had to talk some things through.
My third goal was to significantly reduce my sugar intake. I'd give myself a B- on this one. Once or twice I just simply lost my willpower and made bad choices but the other times I fell off the wagon, it was because my family interfered. I talked with them about it and I'm back on track.
My goals for next week are:
- Significantly reduce sugar intake. Since I didn't do so well this week, I'm keeping it on the list.
- Eat five servings of fruits/veggies every day
- Get 15 - 30 minutes of aerobic activity 4 or 5 days
I'm going to continue the other goals as well but since I did well with them this week, I don't need to track them as closely.
I've done pretty well all week.

We did it!! I love that we are doing this! It has helped me that I have to report in...makes me not want to fail in front of my friends. LOL!!
Anyhoo:
I did not brew coffee today NOR did I buy any. I drank a Pepsi instead.
I did not pack lunch either... I will buy! Today is lunch club so its permitted
I don't have to cook today either because I'll be in CA..
I have plans to break ALL of my rules this weekend! LOL!
I didn't know you were a FLYbaby, too!
Well, good luck with your goals.
I'd say you did an excellent job!!
Remember, as long as you are happy with your accomplishments, that is the best!!
Way to go, Nicole!
Have a super time in CA!!
I though so,
Last night I got the recycling bin under my desk dealt with.
