I tried to edit, but either it's not taken effect, or not yet...

The poll is meant to ask how much would you spend PER CHILD on your child's birthday.

Please include any input- like.. "this would include cake and prizes" or "cake, prizes, activity" or such..

Thanks for the clarification!

Although I only have one kid, I still wouldn't spend over $100 on a party for her....including cake, food drinks & the "stuff" (party favors & goody bags, which we've never done).

Fortunately (or unfortunately?), last year was the first year where we didn't have a "party" per se--we just gathered 3 of her friends, treated them to dinner @ DH's workplace (a buffet restaurant, where they have ice cream) & then took them to see a movie.

Oh, PER CHILD.... that makes a big difference lol. I'd have to change my vote from more than 30 to like 8 to 10 dollars depending on the amount of kids.

My DS (8) we paid about 10 dollars a head for 8 kids to have a cosmic bowling party. DD turns 12 this week and we'll be more like 5 dollars a person. She just wanted to go eat pizza at a local restaurant with 4 of her close friends. No prizes or gift bags or anything. Seems girls in middle school don't do that anymore around here which I'm grateful for.

I think $20 each would be my limit!

I changed my vote to reflect the "per child" addendum....I only have one child, but she often invites her BFF, the BFF's sister, and at least one cousin (one is 8, one is 12).

For my younger two, I'd spend more because they have a close knit group of less than 5 kids. Isaiah... is another story. He's our social butterfly so I'd do no more than $10 eac for him because he's have at least 10-15 kids.

it depends on what i did for her party. say like this year im not spending much because i dont have much. but in the past I have spent 500 on the party alone. we had it at one of those inflatable places. wow that was expensive

Last year we took ds and 7 of his friends to see a Chicago Wolves hockey game, the tickets were about $18 per kid, plus parking, and few extra things.
