Jean's post made me wonder what books you would recommend.

I just started reading Magical Thinking by Augusten Burroughs and so far, it's quite good. It's a collection of short stories.

I have to admit, I'm hooked on Stephanie Meyer's 'Twighlight' series I'm almost done with the 3rd book, 'Eclipse'...I know, it's a teenage vampire series, but I can't help it...she writes so well.

Someone else on this board recommended that series, too.

No, but this young, male co-worker recently admitted to me that he LOVES that series.

I recently read A Mercy, by Toni Morrison; Letter to My Daughter, by Maya Angelou and Marley and Me by John (?) Grogin.

I tried reading the Beloved by Toni Morrison and couldn't follow it. I normally love Maya Angelou's books but wasn't crazy about Letter to My Daughter. I thought it was too preachy, though I guess that's what it's supposed to be about.
