I found the Nike+ to be horribly difficult to use, I had problems every step of the way. After 3 tries to calibrate the thing, I took everything back to the store and swore off Apple products forever.
I swore off my Apple when my ipod wouldn't work. It was impossible to get it right and I took everything back, too. But now the iphone is intriguing me. I like the leveler app - how cool is that - to turn your phone sideways and have a leveler built in. Not that I'd need it often but it's cool. And the games look cool, too.
What running plan are you going to follow? I was going to ask Jean for some advice because I'm thinking about trying it with my dog. I don't think I've ever really given it a fair try.
I've always gotten shin splints, too, but maybe I was doing something wrong. That's why I'm wondering if a real plan would help. I don't really need the impact either but maybe 1 or 2 days a week, if I do it right, might be good for me. With the right shoes, the right plan, the right weather, the stars in alignment ... We'll see. :)
