Ok, the dermatologist calls them "wisdom spots" and I call it "sun damage."

I know people who've done laser surgery and it's worked but they say it's painful.

I have freckles all over the crest of my cheeks and the top of my nose a bit. My husband thinks they're cute, all I can think of is "sun damage" and my best friend, who's pale pale pale European is amazed that I somehow ended up more freckly than her. :)

People use to say my "freckles" looked cute, too.

I tried a Murad skin lightener that didn't work.

The only thing I've heard of that works so far is laser treatments but they can get very costly. I've got friends who've tried everything now and laser was the only thing they've had success with.

I've just resigned myself to the fact I'm going to have to live with age spots as laser treatments aren't in my budget at this time. ;)

My SIL had laser surgery for that and said it was very painful. She almost didn't go through with the second treatment. But, it's not permanent, like plastic surgery isn't--it's better than chemical peels but eventually we're all going to age or look like those Hollywood stars who go through too many repeated treatments and end up looking scary.

Too late.
