i use fresh lemon juice on salads sometimes, too. quite good. especially nice when you are out at a restaurant and aren't sure what's in their dressings!

i will be taking a "break" from la when i do get pregnant -- going on hold officially. i planned that from the start and discussed with the counselors. i will investigate and do one of the higher calorie plans or do sparkpeople instead when i do conceive. one only needs an extra 200 cal/day for pregnancy, not a full extra day's worth of calories every day. so i have to keep that in check and not gain outside the recommended 25-35 lbs. i am comfortable with that level of gain. and then i will come back to la and lose any excess baby weight a few weeks after delivery. i honestly think i'll lose pretty quickly like i did with my son, so should only have 10 lbs or so to drop when i come back to la. i came out of the hospital 10 lbs from my pre-preg weight, but unfortunately i ended up gaining later on . . . going back to la after delivery will help get me on track though, and *stay on track*. i need to stay healthy and eat well. my body, my family, my life demands it! i must stay at my peak!!
