Mel,
hi, wren. thanks. i wasn't sure how things had worked out at the center for you. but sounds like it's a great deal for you!
i totally agree -- the doctor knows best. and i'm glad the center listened! nuts of them to ever push beyond his recommendations honestly. you work out like crazy, eat great, and have to be in great health.

Mel,
Hope all have a great wkend,
I am doing wonderful
hi, wren. yes, i am lucky in how good my center is. there's not consistent quality across centers obviously. i'm nearly finished with my maintenance weeks, though, and will have to decide again if i want to buy more. maybe they'll have another sale and i can get more! :-)
i agree re: exercise. how can a successful weight loss company make exercise optional? or maybe that is how they are so successful! a lot of folks want to lose, but don't want to exercise, so that makes la/pure very attractive, i guess.
well, hope you have a good one today. i see from your other post that you're starting takeoff. enjoy!

Mel,
Hi Wren
poppin' in to say HI today.
I am doing limited take off today and tomorrow.
hi, wren.
exercise + healthy diet = weight loss and maintenance. seems like a no-brainer, doesn't it?? anyway, regardless of la's philosophy, at least we can be grateful that we have gotten into exercise and know that it's vital. i am sure there are a rare few who are able to lose and maintain without exercise, but they are the exception, not the norm!
great that you are helping dd with ideas on staying slim in college. it's a *big* challenge. i gained the freshman 20, i think. but slowly took it off in my sophomore year by exercising a lot and eating fat free. that was the easiest thing for me to do at that point. and it sure worked. i didn't have anymore problems till after ds was born . . .
if you can help dd cultivate a love of activity, it will benefit her big-time. coping with stress in college will be easier, not to mention staying healthy and trim.
