Hi Wren!
I have tons of running around to do today. And of course the last minute cleaning. It looks like it's going to be a late night! That's ok, I'll be up early tomorrow anyhow to put the turkey in (25 lbs...yup, I'm crazy!) and then head to the gym for a quick cardio blast session. Back home to shower and start everything else!
Hubby gets paid to work out, literally. Part of his AM "meetings" is a 1 1/2 hour workout. Plus he runs and goes to the gym a couple of times a week. However, he doesn't love working out like I do. I would so love to have a job that pays me to exercise. He just doesn't realize how good he's got it. However, he's much more disciplined when it comes to food. He doesn't eat emotionally, and that's always been my downfall. I still catch myself wanting "comfort" food when I've had a bad day at work.
Better get going. Hope your day is going well! I'll try to check in later!

well, we were hosting hubby's folks this morning. now they're on their way to see other relatives. then tomorrow we'll all meet up at my sister-in-law's house about 1.5 hr drive from my home. for the meal tomorrow, i'm making these things, so i went out just now & got some groceries:
*appetizers (various toppings on mini toasts)
*apple 'n onion stuffin' muffins
*green beans with water chestnuts
*pumpkin mousse in phyllo cups
*chocolate-coconut stacks in phyllo cups
*soy butter balls
well, that's it. now i'll just be relaxing a bit. later, will fit in more cardio. got in 30 minutes this morn, split on the stationary bike & elliptical, racked up a total burn of 450 calories! great way to start the day.
enjoy your day, wren!

your meals look great as usual! i also like apples as a post workout snack, but often add some string cheese with it. makes the perfect combo!
are you finding the hot sauce and vinegarTea to continue to stave off the water weight? my guess is yes, since you are so consistent using it.
well, have a great day. bet you are busy baking and prepping for the big meal tomorrow!
best,

What will be your day

Hello Jacqui,
NO
Mel,
Yummy! I love salmon :)
Hey, you haven't bought any frozen Wegmans brand squash lately, have you? They've recalled it. Not good considering it's right before the Thanksgiving holiday.

nice meals, wren. haven't tried making cream cheese w/plain yogurt, though. maybe someone else has ideas on this.
