Hi Wren,

Sorry I have not answered you sooner -- have not been on the computer much these last couple of days.

As far as what to eat - the maintenance book that lists the foods and has the colors marks next to the food --Green, Yellow and Red. Will help give you some variety. Most of the green choices are similar to the foods in your weight loss booklet -- and then if you are out and do not have healthy choices you can have a Yellow or Red food and at least you know how to count it -- off the top of my head a red food would be something like a Hot Dog, cake, certain chinese foods etc.

So when you have a chance take a look through the maintenance food choices so you can add back in either some variety or some favorites --I know you do a lot of baking for your family -- so occasionally you should be able to have small portions of your baking too.

As far as your weight being up a bit you are right it is no big deal --one thought is maybe it is up a bit since you have not had time for your long walks lately.

Hope things are getting back to normal for you now that you are done with your kitchen job.

I saw your post to me and just had to come over here and see what you were smiling about.
Congratulations, Wren! You are ready for this, it doesn't matter what the calendar says. You are more ready than most because you figured it out on your own. You leared the hard way what makes you gain, what helps you lose, what you can eat a bit extra of, etc. Maintenance is certainly ready for you!

Can't wait to follow you on this part of your journey! :)
