Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

I gotta say, God bless the coworkers, because they're the most supportive of all! I guess cuz they don't necessarily have an emotional investment in my weight loss, they can cheer me on and on and on. But friends/family know *ME* and they DO have an emotional investment in whether I'm feeling good/bad, confident, positive, or any other emotion that could impact them.

It's the weirdest, though, when my best friend in the world WILL NOT compliment me. The best she's done is to say, "YAY!" when i say, "I bought a size 12 suit!" or "I tried on size 10 chinos!". Oh well. She's really got her own issues and maybe *I* need to be more sensitive? What's that? I have a right to be proud of myself and talk about one of the most important initiatives in my life right now? You're right!

But, whatever. I've been there. I've been the jealous friend or jealous niece or whatever. So, *shrug*, I take it all with a grain of salt. As long as those coworkers still call me "Skinny"!

But anyway....

yes, jess. thank goodness for those coworkers. they see you EVERY day and they know that you are getting SKINNY! so i hope they keep it comin' -- you deserve it!!

You can do it Jess, I guess I should count how many I have left now. Wish it was only 39 times. WTG. But it will be a lifetime things when you get there, don't forget :-) I think I'll have 57 weeks left as of this Thursday, sounds better than 61

Hey all.

Sorry, didn't realize I had any new messages on my journal. I keep getting pushed down to the second page, so I forget to check.

*Jacqui, glad you got some running time back in. How'd the foot feel?
*Karen, my weekend was....eh. I have strep throat and feel pretty run down. Didn't do much. Bought an iPod that I can't even load up at home b/c my home PC is too old.
*Julie, "hi!"

That's my life. I mean, tons of stuff is going on (work, friends, dating, iPods, working out, etc.), but I'm just too tired to report on it all.

Oh, and I had a gain at my weigh in Thursday, even though my morning weight was the exact same weight as the previous week. Tells you how much bodies fluctuate during the day. The counselor wasn't helpful at all and actually kinda pissed me off. But ultimately we decided I'll do an unlimited take-off this week. Probably a good thing, as I need a kick start (once I feel well again).

With my throat hurting, I haven't been drinking water, like, at all. And I had sushi on Friday--water weight. Taco meat on Saturday--water weight. Beef last night--water weight. I'm not going to have a good weigh in this week. But it's all water. I can feel it in my belly. I don't like it.

Trying to drink more now that my throat is mending. We'll see.

Anyway, feeling quiet and blah. So that's all.
