Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

hope you're feeling better soon, jess. great idea to try unlimited takeoff & smart to hold off till you are well again! i've got a case of tummy troubles this a.m. myself. but think it's probably just nerves -- leading a workshop much of the week. it'll be fun, though, if i can get past these darned butterflies in my stomach!

*smile*

Thanks everyone!

I'm feeling a little more perky today. I got in a good workout yesterday (ran 1.5 miles, then 30 minutes of spinning), ate a clean dinner, and had a pretty good date. Slept well. Got my BM schedule back on track. Three pounds of water weight magically vanished in the last 24 hours. My stomach is flat again. I'm back to where I was, weight-wise. Let's see what I can do with this for the rest of the week. Today is a sushi lunch, but I'll be really good with the water tonight to compensate. Tomorrow and Thursday will be unlimited takeoff. (Guess I need to do some grocery shopping!)

I pulled something in my bad shoulder, now there's a constant pulling pain in my right armpit/pec. :(

Oh, and I signed up for periodization training at the gym. It's a 10-week interval of intense cardio training with the express goal of increasing cardiovascular health. We did threshhold testing in spin last night, and we filled out sheets with our AM resting heart rates and that threshhold we reached during class, and how long it took for our heart rates to drop 30 beats. The goal is that in May, when we do the same test, our threshholds are different (lower, I'd imagine) and recover faster.

Hope everyone is well!

Hey Jess, sorry to hear about your arm but that periodization training sounds great.

Glad to hear all else is going well. I too went through a couple days of feeling blah, and just didn't post much. But I am feeling much better now.

Anyway, glad to hear you are beck but again sorry about your arm. Do alternate heat and ice, and get lots of fluids.

On Day One of the unlimited Fast Forward today. Using oranges/grapefruit/canteloupe instead of the juice. Going just fine.

Going to do spinning and some running tonight. That'll be the last of my workouts til I do my 5K on Sunday. (Weather permitting....if not, I'll do a 5K+ on the treadmill at the gym!)

Up two water weight pounds today, thanks to sushi lunch yesterday. Oh well.

Today:
Red, no lites, on UNlimited Fast Forward:
B: egg whites, turkey meatballs
sn: peppers, orange
L: turkey meatballs, cucumbers, cantaloupe, egg whites
sn: grapefruit
D: maybe salmon, maybe chicken, and asparagus (steamed)
Workout: spinning (30 minutes), running/walking (30 minutes)
