Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Hey Mel!

I'm gonna estimate that I burn about 3000 to 3500 cals a week in cardio. Figure on 700 per session, usually 5 a week. Sometimes I burn more, sometimes less. Sometimes I work out more, sometimes less.

:)

Weighed in, down 0.2 from last week. Whatever.

The one woman said that antibiotics make us retain water. Whatever.

I haven't had a BM since Wednesday morning. Whatever.

I got yet another new counselor today. I can't stand the turnaround in that place. I'd love to just once go in there and talk to someone I've talked to several times before, someone that knows what she's doing. Anyway, she was very nice, but I'd had a supremely bad day and was on the verge of tears as it was (PMS and stress, anyone?). So, I kept it together through the weigh in, and then she was trying to make suggestions for my bloating and my lack of bowel movements. "Try drinking 10 glasses of water instead of 8." Okay, well, I normally drink 12 to 16, but thanks. "Try eating some raw greens and some raw fruits." Um, yeah, that's pretty much ALL I eat. "Try eating whole grains." Again, that's all I eat. Funny that I never had a problem with regularity before this diet. I was talking about it with my sis-in-law yesterday. I've decided that I'm gonna have a good steak twice a week, in hopes that the fattier, heavier meat will help keep me greased up.

Now, where do you buy this Nature's Reply tea?

Anyway, again, I haven't pooped since Wednesday, but my morning weight was good today. So, hopefully, the Fast Forward that I just finished did something good, and I'll have a good BM soon, and I'll be moving my way back down soon.

And if not? Then I really need to accept that THIS is my final weight.

*sigh*

Jess, the steak idea is a good one, also try doing a few of the TV dinners, they have accounted for the extra fat in them and that would add some extra fat the LA well. I was doing a hamburger CC once a week, tonight I am doing a hot dog one I talked to them about. The CC pizza meal might be good too, add a little oil that way. I really think if you only stick to basic stuff you just do not get enough oil. You skin will dry out too. You may just have to take a senna based laxative, like theirs or over the counter every 2 or 3 days. I bought some of their salad dressing and it has fat in it and yet they say FF dressing under condiments. So use some low fat salad dressings instead of FF. I have to really stay on top of mine due to the pain medication I take. I will have to take medicine the rest of my life, so I will be taking senna. I also do prunes and raisins EVERY day, either one or both. Usually prunes for breakfast and raisins some other time. Today, just doing prunes. So may have to take one more senna today. Hope something I say here helps.

Jess, 0.2 is a good weight loss considering the BM problem you are having and the antibiotics and PMS. Hang in there girl!!!

The senna is a good idea. I just remembered someone telling me about that before, so I'm going to try that. I've tried the fiber powder, I've tried the prunes, I've tried the major fruis/veggies/whole grain thing, and I'm just not regular. I'm going to look for senna tea today.

I'm using low-fat salad dressing already, always have. I can't stand the FF dressings, and honestly, I'd rather use a small amount of a low-fat dressing than a larger amount of fat-free. KNow what I mean? Quality over quantity. I know you know what I mean!

My only hesitation about the frozen meals is the sodium. My body is SO sensitive to sodium now that I think the extra fat to help with my BMs would mess up my water/bloat.

I'd love to eat more reduced fat peanut butter, but the sodium!

So, more olive oil as I'm cooking, more butter in/on stuff, and more red meat! Let's see what that does for me.

Mmm, steak.

I'm just hoping that I'll see a good number tomorrow, seeing as I just did the two day Fast Forward. I need to have a good session in the bathroom for that to happen, though!

Anyway, thanks for the ideas and support!

wow, 3000 or more burned in cardio per week. awesome!! just curious. thanks. i used to average 2000-2500, but i'm just trying to go for a minimum of 1500 now, while focusing on pouring more time into strength training. am already at the 2000 mark for the week, though. i count my week from Monday-Sunday just 'cause that's how my training log is set up.
