Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

I know, I'd DIE if I did Lites. All that soy protein would totally do me in.

However....since I've had such a problem with #2's lately, I bought more soy crisps and intend to use them medicinally, if ya know what I'm sayin'. Have a few here and there, and I should be able to #2 just fine.

Anyway, the nutritionist got back to us. She suggests move me up to Red 1, since I'm working out so much and not using Lites. So, I get one more fruit, one more starch, and one more dairy every day. I've had a feeling all along that I haven't been having enough to eat, so if this works, it confirms it. We're going to have me do it for two weeks.

Down 2.6 lbs this week at weigh in. I think it's a new low for me, lowest since late January or early February. Fingers crossed for the trend to continue. I checked, and I get $20 for referring my friend last year. In a few weeks, they're doing an Open House, so I can buy more weight loss weeks with my referral money for $3/week. Maybe, if I can keep this loss juggernaut going again, I can get to my original goal? Wow.

Though I am looking forward to just maintaining and being done with this weight loss stuff. Hehe.

So.

That's my life. I made those peanut butter cookies that Diane (?) posted earlier. They're good!

Jess,

Glad you had time to post an update.

Sounds like a good weigh in -- and glad they decided to up your plan since you do work out so much.

Enjoy the extra food -- looks like you are getting basically what I get on maintenance except no extra veggies or fat.

The $3 a week for weight loss weeks sounds like a good deal --I think I paid $5 a week and that was a special a couple of yrs ago.

Seems like with all this weight off you are enjoying life and having fun getting out in the dating world. Have fun for all us married ones that need to live vicariously thru you and Sue.

the frustrating thing that I just remembered is that this counselor i've been seeing lately is probably the one I've seen the most. She's heard me say over and over again how hungry I am, the "Why am I bothering to starve all day long if I'm not going to lose?" Three months, I've been saying this to her, every week.

So yesterday, after she tells me I'm moving up to Red 1, she asks, "Have you been hungry on Red?"

DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She quite obviously isn't listening. Why do I bother trying to share anything with them??

Anyway.

Yes, medicinal soy crisps and peanut-butter cookies that act as proteins. I'm in heaven! :)

(And I'm up 4.5 lbs this morning. Hello, water weight!)

Hi Jess!

Sometimes I don't think the counselors know exactly what works and what doesn't.

Oh. My. God.

I was so sick yesterday. Either that soy allergy kicked up crazy, or I picked up a stomach flu or ate something funny. (I don't think it was the soy.) I left work early and spent the afternoon/evening in bed. I could only lie on my back--lying on my side made me feel like I was going to barf. My stomach hurt SO BAD, and I had lots of trips to the bathroom. The last thing I ate was a plain bagel and a banana that a coworker got for me for lunch. I couldn't even stomach a cup of tea around 9PM.

The good news is that A) I feel mostly better today and B) my morning weight was down to an all-new low, 182.0!!

Of course, that's the direct result of some pretty blatant dehydration, but even so. Yay!

I'm going to dinner with friends tonight for my birthday, and this is good--my stomach still hurts a little, so I won't drink and I won't want to eat something really fatty. Yay!
