Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.
7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.
I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)
Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Jess,
Hope you enjoyed the open house and had a good weigh in too.
You must be so excited to be starting stabilization! And if you move into stabilization from Red 1 no lites -- the plan you are on now you will have plenty of food and it should not feel like a diet at all.

Weigh in was good--I lost 1.6 of the 1.8 I'd gained from last week. Back down to 183.2 officially, which leaves me still at 70.4 total. I have ONE weight loss week left. ONE. Amazing.
I waited 45 minutes to weigh in, though, and I'd gone POST-workout. They had food in the lobby, but I wanted my DINNER, not LAWL snacks. So, I sat there for 45 minutes after my workout, starving, smelling turkey meatballs and stuff. Finally weighed in. Oy.
Relaxing for the night....

I know, I can't believe it. I've been doing this since the fourth of July last year!
I remember telling myself, "41 weeks is a long way away, but you can do it." Now we're here!
Anyway, she was like, "Can we at least get you down to 180 before you move to stabilization?" and I said, "I'm not paying for more weight loss weeks. Whatever I am next week is what we're maintaining!" and she cautioned me, as though it were a LIFE OR DEATH!!!! thing, "We're gonna add more food into your plan next week, you know that, right??" and I was like, "Yeah-huh" with a wide-eyed "let's get on with it" face. (I couldn't stand the babying way she was talking to me.) (I was cranky. I was hungry!)
Anyway, can't wait to be done.
Aaaaand I'm up two pounds this morning. Thanks, water weight due to my turkey sub for dinner last night!

Hey Jess---the closer you get to maintenance the funnier your posts are getting...LOL
Yeah stick to your guns.
Hello Jess,
I started the new plan Red 1 today. I am so glad to have a different plan without lites. I could no longer afford the lites so I switched to this plan. I will look at your journal for inspiration, advice, and menus. My goal is 170 and I am now 196.8. It seemed my body just stopped after losing under 200. Well, nice to meet ya and talk later.

Red 1 without lites
hi jymlove1!
For your benefit, I'll start logging menus this week. I've gotten out of that habit, I know. I've only been on Red1 for a few weeks, and honestly, I'm finding it hard to get all the food in some days. But no matter, I've only got this one last week of weight loss!

All good with me lately. I've had a few days of SUPER workouts. I did the Arc Trainer Friday and Saturday, and I plugged in my weight and did the hill interval. I don't totally trust those calorie counters on the cardio machines, but they can't be TOTALLY wrong. Anyway, I say that as a preface to me saying that it said I burned 1060 calories on Friday and 960 on Saturday (I was tired Saturday, from bein' out late Friday). Wow. Then i used a program on the treadmill today that required me to plug in my weight (I normally do the quick start that doesn't ask for any info), and it radically bumped up the calories I burned during my normal runs and walks. I apparently burn about 1000 calories an hour when I'm running. Nice! I normally run 30 minutes, then do hill walking and speed walking, so it's nice to know that I'm burning so much during that activity too. Point being--I need that Red1 for the food, cuz I really burn up calories. (Of course, I could probably work out less and eat less, but no fun in that--and besides, I LOVE being healthy and cardio-licious.)
I'm wearing cute Old Navy denim gauchos that make my butt look so cute. I was shopping yesterday and was shocked at how slim I really am getting. It's weird. And then i was out at a few bars last night with some friends, and my one friend told me that every guy who walked by was totally checking me out--especially when i was standing. I was taller than just about everyone there--I'm 6'0" and was wearing 3" heels. Amazon!
Anyway, Thursday is my last official weigh in on weight loss phase. Then into stabilization.
I'll record my menu tomorrow. Weekends are always a little strange.
Happy Sunday!
Jess
Hooray for you Jess. I am so proud of you. I am 5'7 and 196lbs. I wore a dress today that made me look and feel sexy. It showed my curves and I too realize how much I have lost. It's great too. My hb said he couldn't wait to take that dress off, LOL. I feel better and more determined to get to my goal. I want to be healthy, look and feel healthy. I usually post my menus. Take care.
