Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Hey Jess,

Those are great pointers. Maybe I'll try eating something couple of hours before the workout and then maybe some protein to repair the muscle after the workout. I still haven't started it, but I am walking a lot more with the nice weather, so I count that as a sort of some exercise.

My schedule doesn't really allow me to work out in the morning and my gym is not that close to where I live or my work. I don't drive, but I do take public transportation, so that makes it a little harder too.

Man, it's so frustrating, but I'm stuck with my weight. It's like I've hit a plateau or maintenance, but I'm not even near loosing as much as I should or want to. I'm stuck at 263-265 for a few months now and haven't lost any since January. This is not good. I have to take this more seriously and get down. I know it's all in my head though.

That's funny about the noises at yoga classes. I heard of that, actually. I've done yoga in the past and really enjoy it. I'd like to go back to it some day. I've taken too many other classes as is, so that will have to wait.

It's great that you see yourself as a slender girl now. You sure look great. Some people don't see themselves as they truly are and what they have become. I know I don't see myself that fat in the mirror, but I sure do look that way when

Kleo,

Definitely try splitting up the eating around the evening gym time.

hi, jess! whoa, i'm not the only one on the bc roller coaster. i went off it in december to ttc (make a baby!), but no luck yet. so i am going to get into my doc and get back on the bc. my moods have been *off the charts*!!! crying more in the past few months than in the past few years combined. dh has been *totally* thrown off with the new, hormonal me. and i have been, too. it just doesn't feel like me to be so easily set off. not at all. i'm usually miss cool regardless of the circumstances.

Cool advice, Jess. It is not that I lack the motivation, but the technique. I like your ideas about the motivation, especially about repeating and how many more times it will take to get to the goal. I completely understand this.

I don't really have a mini goals. I guess maybe I don't plan this so well, just go with the flow. Maybe this is my mistake. I've never wrote my meal plan for the day and work it out. Is this something you've done?

I read a lot of articles about the fitness, but from what I thought I understood they were saying you need to eat your protein few minutes after the workout to repair the muscle tissue, because they do tear when you work out. Maybe I'm wrong... either way, it's good to have a bit of both maybe... that is if I get myself to start doing some exercise. I have a lot of food to eat, since I don't take any of their suppliments or lites. Try to fit in 5 starches, 3 1/2 protein, 3 dairy, 4 fruits and veggies... it's a lot of food one needs organizing all of it.

I like your ideas about having notes on your fridge. I was actually thinking of the same thing. Sometimes I just don't know what to eat, so I grab cottage cheese, some toast and tomato (that's the stuff that I eat mostly), but you need something more exotic at times... but, my mind runs to sushi right away. :)

I take your advice, because you were in my shoes and you go out them. One day at a time.

Thanks Jess.

She is very much an insipration. I especially like the latest picture she posted. It gives me something to look up to. I know I can be there too.

Very much an inspiration for me.
