Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

hey, jess. glad you're down another lb. sounds like a good day you have lined up. enjoy your workout and movie night.

just a thought -- re: weight gain and increasing running. have you talked with any trainers at your gym about it? maybe they have some secrets to heading off gain even while you eat to fuel your training . . .

i had no idea that was so common -- weight gain & marathon training. huh. well, you know your body best. and the running is obviously very gratifying to you, so it'd be ridiculous to give it up to counter the gain during training. just keep on keepin' on. how's that for throwing around a cliche? ;-)

hey, jess. gains also seem to go *straight* to my belly. i lost the weight, then any time i gain that's where it piles on. maybe it's because i'm in my mid-thirties now, i don't know. but it stinks. it used to all go to my hips, which i didn't mind as much, but now it loves my belly. grrr.

anyway, enough ranting.

and thanks for the post on pastaqueen. i'd never seen that blog and it's terrific! maintenance is a lifetime of hard work. if we're lucky -- or rather, vigilant -- we gain a few lbs then get it off before it gets serious . . . .

hope you have a great thursday!

Yeah, I'm really quite amazed at how localized the gain is.

Jess,

Seems like you have a great day planned.

Glad the scale is cooperating for you -- my scale was back down today too.

My day has had a lot of running around - errands earlier today -- though did sleep in till almost 9 AM -- DH had stayed up LATE and taken the dogs out one last time at 3 AM -- so was nice to be able to sleep in.

Have a terrific weekend!
