Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

You should see my notes from when I was weighing in at LAWL officially! I had mine tracked, theirs tracked, measurements from them and from me...insane! Anyway, reminding myself that my new scale is over a lb heavier helps me not freak out. But otherwise, I try to forget it so when I get to 180 on the new scale, it's really 179 on my old one. yay!

Didn't do HH tonight. I called to make my appt for my hair for NEXT Friday, but the guy talked me into going tonight. So I bailed on HH and got my hair done instead. I need to wash/dry/style it myself and see how it lays tomorrow. It's just a trim and touching up my high and lowlights, but she blowdries it funny and it looks weird. I'll like it more tomorrow. It also smells funny. Ha! Anyway, I feel bad for blowing off happy hour. They were all apparently asking where I went, cuz until this AM, I was totally going. oh well. Next time.

And I dind't head home right away, I went to my friend's house for mac and cheese, salad, and cookies. And wine. But I restrained myself on servings, so it shouldn't be too bad. But, like, zero water today. Just a weird day. No poopies today either. Boo!

I have an appt for my heel/ankle for next week. I printed out an article off a medical website about another tendon that I think might be the culprit. It connects the big toe through the ankle bone area up into deep muscles below the calf muscles. *shrug*

hey, jess. sorry you had to blow off hh, but hey, think of the calories you probably saved! i'd do the same thing, too, personally. once i take a notion to touch up my hair -- i take a quick opening, if there is one. my hairdresser tends to book up in advance, so if i'm lucky to get an appt quickly, i'm there no matter how i have to shift around my other commitments.

hope your saturday's going well. i've got a two-hour block here to get my workout in while my guys are out. i already did my strength work and some cardio. and earlier today, i bought two new workout videos -- both yoga, and i want to try one before they get back home. it's a biggest loser workout that promises weight loss, so it's probably more like power yoga. :-) so i'm off to sweat off some more calories. later!

ha! I don't think I saved TOO many calories by skipping HH. I was going to stick to light beer anyway, and limit myself to two (maybe three). But you're right, and those couple hundred calories add up!

I only had a one pound gain for the later dinner of mac-and-cheese, wine, and cookies.

Had a great workout yesterday--one hour of strength training with some new moves, and 45 minutes of intervals on a spin bike. Had a nice lunch with veggies and tofu, then headed to the movies with a friend. Bought candy to eat there, but we saw a double feature and I made the candy last for both movies. Had dinner in between the two movies at a place that's known for their burgers. And I now know why--sooooo good! I rarely get burgers. I decided that I could either have the whole burger but no fries, or I could have the burger, no bun, and have the fries. Fries or the bun. I chose the bun. Got a side of broccoli with my burger instead. It was salty as hell, the broccoli, but it's still better than fries.

I'm up two pounds this morning, though. Thanks, salty burger and broccoli! Ha! I know it'll go down ASAP.

Today, I did a great high-intensity interval workout on the elliptical. Listened to my MP3 player and did my own intervals with my music, which surprisingly makes that hour blow by so quickly. An older guy was on the elliptical next to me, and about 20 minutes in, he admitted to me that he was trying to keep pace with me but wasn't able to. Later, when he left, he thanked me for the inspiration. HA! Anyway, i feel good. Waiting for mylunch to finish cooking (homemade chicken pizza on whole wheat dough). Date tonight--meeting for drinks. I'll stick with light beer.

Thanks Marg! I was pretty proud of my choice, too. A burger is kinda better than the fries, just in terms of not being fried. And it was heavenly to eat a nice, juicy burger on a nice, soft bun. Like a normal person.

Just got back from the date. Eh. He was nice enough, we're equally matched in terms of intelligence and interests and such, but I wasn't feeling open to him, and THEN he made some comment about my being a nailbiter and wouldn't let it go. I got pretty annoyed, honestly, and it colored my opinion about the whole date. he asked to see me again, and I said "maybe" and said I needed to cool off about the nailbiting bitching. Weird.

Anyway. I had two beers (one regular and one light) and potato skins (equivalent of 2 small potatoes). That plus my whole wheat pizza at lunch was all I ate today, so, as long as I chug a little more water before bed, I should hopefully be in 187-188 territory tomorrow.

Oh, and another guy wants to meet me this week, so...I'll let tonight's guy settle and see how the other guy goes.

So that's that!

hey, jess. happy monday!

sounds like you had a pretty good weekend -- nailbiting comments aside. that is really weird, btw. not the best way for a new guy to win your affection. he needs a lesson in etiquette, if you ask me.

great choice on the burger. skipping fries can be tough, but having just a normal yummy burger was a great tradeoff. too bad the brocc was so darn salty, but at least it was healthier overall than fries would be.
