Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Yay!

I weighed in tonight, and it was 200.0! She made me go to the bathroom to see if we could get 199.8, but no dice. But I'm happy. It's still 2.6 down from last week, and it's still 200, and it's still 53.6 lbs off in 20 weeks! We did measurements, too, and I'm down a total of 32 inches! Yay! That's, like 2.5 feet of me, gone!

Challenging weekend ahead, with my friend's wedding, but I feel confident.

WooHoo!!! I was just catching up with what I missed these past few days, and you weren't expecting much at all this week. So to have that kind of a loss with PMSing and all is fantastic!

This is THE Black Dress wedding, right? You've got to post a pic because you are going to look simply amazing in that dress. Oh, and it'll be the last time you'll probably still fit into it, of course! :) You'll do just fine this weekend. Go in with a plan, and dance your @$$ off! That way you can sleep in a bit and skip the gym Saturday AM.

Thanks!

Well, the bachelorette party was a challenge. I don't think I could have done better than I did--I really don't. We went to this tiny little winebar in downtown Philly. The girls who were in charge of the evening basically ordered two of everything off the menu, for the table to split. There were 12 of us splitting these little wine bar appetizers. The food was REALLY GOOD, but really not LAWL friendly. I considered bucking the trend and ordering a plain salad for myself, but I was already in an outsider's position, having driven myself into the city instead of riding in the limo with everyone else. (They are all out of towners who don't have to work today like I do!) So, I had small servings of baked brie, caesar salad, bruschetta, risotto, charcuterie, cheese, fruit, and....not a lot of protein. Carbs and cheese. And one glass of wine, and one glass of champagne. I had two starches, two fruits, a protein, a dairy, a fat, and some veggies going into it, so the damage was probably minimal. (And I did a 27-minute workout between work and this event, just to stay awake and to minimize damage.)

I know that I am retaining a little water, because I guzzled a liter of water on the drive home and barely had to pee last night or this morning. So today's chore is to guzzle two liters while at work, and try to stay on it through tonight's rehearsal dinner stuff (at a tex-mex place). I will do my best! I'm trying to leave room for tonight, and I'll try to make the best choices i can. I'm off to see if they have a menu online, and if not, I might be a pain in the ass to the server to order something special from the kitchen. At least I'll save the groom's parents some money by not drinking much (if anything).

I'm SO TIRED today. I was tired yesterday, and then I had to drag myself out for this bachelorette party dinner, and the girls didn't arrive til 9pm. Funny, I normally eat at 6 and am winding down at 9. My alarms both went off late this morning (or I was SO asleep that i didn't hear them going off for twenty minutes??), so i was running late, and only now that I'm at work on time and calm do I feel so exhausted. I can't wait to sleep in tomorrow!

198.6 yesterday AM and 198.4 yesterday afternoon (Cool!), but 199.4 this morning. (Again, water.)

More later!

Aww, thanks!

The rehearsal dinner was tonight. I was okay. I would give myself a C+. I had about 20 tortilla chips (but could have had a lot more). Salsa. One dollop of seven-layer dip. One dollop of a creamy dip. But they were sitting right in front of me on the table for about 1.5 hours!! how could I not?? Anyway, continuing... One alcoholic beverage (it was open bar for beer and margaritas). And then I asked for the citrus vinaigrette instead of the ranch dressing on my salad (actually asked for oil and vinegar, but they didn't have that). And then I got shrimp fajitas and declined the sour cream and salsa, and I ate the shrimp and onions and peppers with my fork--no tortilla. That was a good choice! But then I ate two teeny pieces of dessert off the tray. (But they were worth it!)

Not great. Not off the wagon at all, but not great. It was hard with this free set menu being brought out in front of me, and no one else seeming to care about all the fat!

Tomorrow should be easier--the dinner I chose was salmon, and it's not a free-for-all like the past two nights were. Good! Just a plain ol' wedding reception dinner. And then I'm back to my salads and salmon and chicken and egg whites and ww muffins. Yay!!!!

I'm exhausted, going to bed!
