Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.
7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.
I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)
Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Evening Jess!
I love decluttering! I like to do it about once a month (it must go along with my cycle somehow--I get in an anti-nesting phase once a month!). Now, if only I could stop shopping to add to my clutter, I wouldn't have to declutter. Probably save some money, too.
I saw my lowest weight this morning. Yay! 187.2. Maybe I'll see a 186.8 or something tomorrow? Great workout--did an hour on the arc trainer, then a nice 10 minute brisk walk on the treadmill to cool down.
Off to enjoy my Saturday! Bye!

hi, jess. i think i'll try the rutabaga w/o potato next time. like you said, it'd be totally guilt-free if i didn't have to count any starch in it. and i love the flavor. very nice change to the same-old-same-old. i think i was getting in a rut with my veggies. am trying to branch out a bit more now.
happy the scale is coming down again for you. i know it's a bummer to see a gain at weigh-in. and it's not something you are used to, for sure! seems like you are always on target.
sounds like you are in terrific shape from all that cardio. think you've inspired me to get my lazy behind into my workout clothes and head down to the stationary bike. will try to get in some time on the elliptical, too, if i feel super inspired. right now, just getting going is the problem . . . but i'm on my way. :-)
hope you're enjoying your saturday.

Sheesh, if you love decluttering, you'd have a field day at MY apartment! Come on down, lol!! My apt. is REALLY small, & we have more stuff than we can comfortably fit in here, but it's all stuff we need! BUT...i'm sure there are bunches of LITTLE things that sure could stand to go! I live at...lol!! C'mon down, anytime you wanna declutter something, look me up! LOL! Bentonville, Ar kee saw :P........(Home of WalMart, and absolutely NOTHING else!)
Have a great day!

HA! You guys crack me up. Actually, if I were to start my own business, it'd be a cleaning/organizing business. I love doing it. I just don't have the motivation to REALLY make it a "business." So I do it for fun, and I help my one sloppy friend when her kids have her apartment all torn up.
Anyway, thanks for the encouragement, too, Mel and Susan!

Good morning today! I slept in, weighed in at home at 186.6! Yahoooo! That's my lowest yet. I'm back! I was very careful yesterday, and I started religiously logging my calories into Sparkpeople again the past few days (got out of the daily habit over the holidays). I think that's the key for me. Really paying attention to the little sources of calories that tend to sneak in here and there. So, today, I did a run in my new sneakers (yay!) and then a nice brisk, hilly walk. Burned about 800 cals. Pushups and crunches at home, and now I'm having tea after having a veggie-laden lunch. Tonight, I'm making a Shepherd's Pie with turkey and sweet potato. That should keep me cozy all week.
Here's hopin' I get a low-185 number by weigh in on Thursday! Make up for my gain last week!
Sunday, Red plan, no Lites:
B: none, sleeping and working out
L: egg whites, laughing cow cheese (lite), rutabaga, cucumbers, acorn squash, carrots w/black bean hummus
sn: reduced fat peanut butter on a rice cake with banana and ff cool whip
D: shepherd's pie, salad, some kind of fruit
Workout: 65 min treadmill (30 min run)
Holy cow Jess! Great job on the scale again! You ARE back!
So, question for you....how much exercise are you able to do in a week (types/hours)? I know I read in past posts that you did some swimming. What else do you enjoy? Reason I am asking is that I am trying to change up my exercise plan a bit. I may look into something more strenuous (kick boxing class, Body Pump class) because I think I would lose a lot quicker if I increased my exercise. Sometimes I have the time but during weeks like last week, I didn't have the time. So, thought I would ask! You are truly an inspiration! Thanks!
