Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Yeah, Marg, I'm gettin' close!!

Jacqui, I never said I was GOOD at keeping my workout moderate. HA! To make it more intense, I would've run 30 minutes THEN done all that. So, that WAS kinda moderate. I guess. :)

Anyway, keep quiet. Still at 184.8 this morning. Phew!

I had dinner-for-breakfast, in a way. Had a salmon burger and 1/2 ww muffin. Not normally ALL I'd eat for dinner if I were truly switching the two meals, but it's at least a different protein than I normally have at breakfast. We'll see.

Today, red no lites:
B: salmon burger, 1/2 ww muffin, diet cran
sn: yogurt
L: sushi (will go light on rice and soy sauce)
sn: banana
D: egg whites, oatmeal, string cheese
workout: none today (eye doc appt)

Hmm, very interesting.

I've noticed that I'm not so hungry this morning. Normally by 9-something, I'm starving and having my fruit. Today, not so hungry, and might not have the yogurt I'd planned to have as a morning snack. Might have it as "dessert" after sushi lunch. Or have it before sushi lunch so I don't gorge. We'll see.

I probably got 330 cal for breakfast instead of my normal 150.

Anyway, close monitoring....

I had smoked salmon on a bagel for breakfast once and my counselor laughed at me.

Mmm, smoked salmon!

Trying to think of what I can eat tomorrow AM to have dinner for breakfast. Chicken? Flounder? Ugh, I don't know if I can do too much fish for breakfast.

I noticed that I'm a lot hungrier at night now, having not had a full protein for dinner. I wonder how it's going to work out for me on nights when i do my full gym workout. The evening protein might not be enough. (In which case, I'll have a few more egg whites--they're 15 cal a serving, might as well!)

I might be adopting a cat! Did I mention this? A friend's coworker is trying to find a home for it, and last I heard on Friday, it was already taken. But as of today, it's still available. So we'll see! Might be too late--I think that they'd planned to take it to the SPCA today, and my friend wasn't at work today--got the email from home. We'll see.

Oh, and I went to the eye doc tonight. I'm getting new glasses, since the technology has improved and my awful prescription can be made not-so-thick. And they had cute glasses that are covered by my insurance, so I got a cute pair of librarian glasses to wear sometimes. Now that my face is thinner, glasses look a lot better on me, so I might give my eyes and my contacts a break sometimes! yahoo!

G'morning!

185.2 this morning. That's fine. It's only up 0.4 from yesterday AM, and that's after a sushi lunch (soy sauce, miso soup) and no workout. Today can only be better! Tomorrow will be 184-something, and Thursday, weigh in day, MIGHT be my magical 183.8 day. Maybe!!!!

I tried to do a small chicken burger leftover from the weekend's Take Off plus part of a salmon burger as my protein for breakfast, but I couldn't stomach the salmon burger again. The chicken burger was fine, though. So, I have some more turkey meat I can use to make more small burgers to eat for breakfast, since the cooked fish is SO unappetizing.

And I'm only bringing a 1/2 protein for lunch today, to see how that goes. Since I was so hungry at the end of the day yesterday, I think I'll need a full protein for dinner. So, menu as follows:

Red, no lites:
B: chicken burger, 1/4 salmon burger, 1/4 ww muffin (threw some out with the salmon burger), mashed rutabaga, diet cran juice
sn: yogurt
L: salad, 4 oz. chicken, 1/2 ww. muffin
sn: banana
D: egg whites, string cheese, 1.5 T reduced fat PB, rice cake
Workout: to be determined.

Wooooooooo!

Great workout!

I ran for 45 minutes without stopping. I almost pushed for 50, but my heart rate was getting up there, so I stopped at 45. How cool! I walked out the rest of the hour, and the cool thing was that a regular-paced walk (4.0) had my heart rate up, cuz it'd been up with the run. Cool!

I feel great.

I had a pretty good dinner, but I still feel hungry. I might have some extra egg whites to help fuel the machine. Leaving here to go plug my calories into Sparkpeople. If I'm low, I'll do the egg whites.

Yay!

Jess,

WTG! I know you have been working on running continuously for longer and longer periods of time. Have you ever thought about signing up for a 5K? Sounds like something you might like.

Girrrrlllll!!

I am absolutely amazed by your work-outs!! When i grow up, i wanna be JUST LIKE YOU! :-)
I don't know that i will EVER be able to run like that..of course, i DO have huuuuggee tatas, so i really wouldn't want to wind up with black eyes all the time, either...!

But you are truly an inspiration to me, & you make me feel like i could do SO much more than what i'm doing right now, which, ummmm...is basically, nothing..lol! If this was later in the day & i had already been to bed, i would get off my booty right now & do something physical..and i wouln't let myself lay down til the feeling passed, either..:P:))Hope you're having a great day, & i am rooting for you--not much to go before you're at maintenance!! Wooo hoooo!!

Have a grrreat day!
