Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

mel,
Funny about the chicken comment on the soup.... I just posted that it sounds like chicken would be good in it too...

Jess,
Sorry to hear the kitty didn't work out but really glad the owner could take it back...

I may try that oatmeal you suggested... I could even do that for dinner.... I really do like peanut butter!

Your hair sounds great! I was just reading about low lights... and I thought I might give it a try. I am a bit bored with what I've got. Med/dark brown hair. I could use a little red under neath to bring out some boost! But not sure how that works with dark hair, I just know blond highlights are not for me.

I am hooked on this board so time to shut off the lap top! Damned wireless connection!

Have a great day!

LOL! The accent annoys you, or just that your friend picked it up, as well? I suck up accents pretty fast, too, i guess. Amazing she picked it up as fast as she did, eh?

Your American friend & her British hubby made me think of something that one of my favourite comediennes had said once...(Rita Rudner).."I'm American & my husband is English (I'm paraphrasing, here, lol)...so when we have children, they will be rude & then become appalled by their own behaviour." HAAA!! I love that! :P

I'm with you, i don't think i could live without my hubby as long as that, either, but ESPECIALLY having to still live with my parents! The long-distance romance would have been hard enough! :P

Have a great day!

HA, Kimmi! "Rude....appalled!" That's awesome. yeah, it's more annoying that a girl I grew up with since 8th grade is all of a sudden talking about "ringing her mobile" and her jumpers and trainers and all that crap! :)

Julie, totally get the low-lights!! I would take a close-up of my hair and upload it here for ya, but I just can't see to get this contraption to like my photos anymore. Oh well!

Had a good day. Doing my best to stay on track 100% because weigh in is tomorrow. I was 185.0 this morning and 185.2 this afternoon, which is heartening! Hope tomorrow is a good weigh in. I want 185 on THEIR scale, in clothes, in the afternoon.

Did spinning again tonight. This instructor isn't as motivating as the Monday night one. She's nicer, but she doesn't get me to push myself as much. Anyway, it was a good workout regardless. Then I went up to the cardio area and did 40 minutes on the treadmill. First, I did 2 miles at 6.6! Wahoo! That's 18 minutes at my new and improved speed! Then i walked and did hills and stuff.

Red, no lites:
B: eggs, oatmeal with reduced fat PB, diet cran juice
sn: apple
L: salad w/ chicken, ww pita, orange
D: chicken, rutabaga, celery, oatmeal with a little reduced fat PB (love that stuff)
workout: 30 spinning, 40 treadmill (running 20)

Didn't get my dairy today, but I'm up on calories, so if I have any, it'll be a 40-cal half serving of Dannon with my jello and ff cool whip later.

Later!

Jess,
I can see where that would be really annoying. What annoys me (not trying to start an argument here with ANYONE, btw, lol..)is when Caucasian girls or women start dating men of colour & then try to act like THEY are "home-girls"! I have no problem with the inter-dating at ALL, just with being someone you're NOT bugs me. So i do understand! It would be like me TRYING to sound like i was reared in "the 'hood", or the Bronx, or Britian...when it's fairly obvious i wasn't...but my kids are mixed (part white , part Cherokee, part black--...:P)...my eldest one relates better to the black community but looks Mexican, lol...my younger one looks totally Indian, but relates more to the Caucasian community...and they were both reared by me and Speedy (the one i've been married to for the last 23 years) so go figure, lol...it doesn't matter to me which community they are part of, as long as they contribute to them! BE an asset, not a liability, and be proud! I love the hexx outta my boys!..You should see them, they are both gorgeous! LOL. (Not a proud mama, am i?? :P) The eldest one looks like a lighter version of Tay (sp?) Diggs. :D...and my younger one is ALWAYS getting told how much he looks like Prince! The younger one has done modeling from Missouri to Arizona, he even has a portfolio. Okay, enough bragging on my kids, lol!

I went to LAWL to pick up my Lites & another Diet journal. I got some of the Ranch Soy Crisps, and BOY, they are good! If we'd had more money i would have gotten more. They had some open so you could see if you liked them, & i could easily get hooked on them!

Btw, i am in AWE of your exercise dedication! You GO, girl!! Looks like it is DEFINITELY paying off! I expect we'll be seeing you on a commercial, if your counselor has her way! You're doing great!

Well, i hafta go wash dishes...overjoyed about that, too..lol!

Wren, I have the same problem with peanut butter--restraint!! That's why I had it twice today, ha!! Anyway, let me know what you think!

Kimmi, I guess the lesson in all of it is "Be yourself!!". Of course, my faux-Brit friend would retort that her new accent IS herself. *eyeroll* :)

(Just did my own dishes. Oh joy!)

BTW, I went to Kohl's tonight on my way home from work, because I'm SO COLD all the time and only really have two sweaters I can wear anymore--the rest don't fit. (And I'm colder now that I'm thinner, too.) So, i got a new sweater, a new hoodie for bummin' around the house, a new cute little shirt (all XL) and then....a skirt in medium! MEDIUM!!! I'm a medium?! I'm six feet tall! In a medium skirt! I'm wearing it tomorrow, oh yeah.

WOOO HOOO, you GO with your new skinny self in that MEDIUM skirt!! :D:D

And really, you get colder now that you're thinner?? COOOOOLLL!!! (Well, for ME, it is, lol...) This is all the motivation i need to get this weight off, lol...i am so hot-natured! And the hot flashes are NOT helping, either! :(....maybe once i get to my goal weight i will feel just warm all the time, as opposed to hot as hexx.)

And i know *I* will always be a size larger on top, than anywhere else (unless i can ever get that breast reduction, lol).

Way to go & STRUT while you're wearing your new clothes! :P:D
And i guess i DID have a long-winded way of saying "Be yourself", lol...sorry 'bout that!

Have a great Thursday!

Kimmi, I'm way hot-blooded, too. My family is very sweaty and overheated, and it's something I've had to deal with my whole life, even as a skinny teenager. But of course, it makes sense that being overweight would make you even warmer. Losing 67+ lbs does have an effect on your ability to stay warm. At least, *I* think so. I know it's generally cold out, but I'm having a MUCH harder time staying warm. I was even getting goosebumps at the gym last night, as I cooled down on the treadmill! Sure, I just finished 40 minutes, including a 20-minute run, but MAN, I was cold.

Good day so far today. I weighed in at 184.2, which is, again, my lowest ever weight. I think I hit that on Friday last week, but then went up again thanks to fondue and buffalo wing powder. I'm hoping that I'll have 185+ on their scale today, but I'm betting it'll be more like 186. That'd be one pound from last week. Eh. I'll do better next week! I really am thinking that maybe I'll revise my goal to 175. Or even 180. (If I get to April 17th and I'm still at 180, then yeah, that's my goal weight!)

No workout tonight--it's rest day. Laundry night at my brother's!

Red, no lites:
B: egg whites, oatmeal w/ red. fat PB, diet cran juice
sn: apple
L: salad with chicken (1/2 P), ww pita, orange
D: Chicken, veggies, yogurt, and string cheese
Workout: none

Hehe, I love rest days, Mel!

Well, weigh in was okay. 186.6. That makes an even 67 lbs so far. I was hoping for 185 to get a 2 lb loss, but I'll take 0.4 considering my fondue splurge last weekend. It's still down! I'm going to shoot for 185 next week.
