Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.
7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.
I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)
Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

No the eggs are just part of breakfast -- usually egg whites and somedays a fresh fruit cup or maybe a slice of wheat bread with butter or an english muffin.(would count as 2 starches)--which shows you I have not been 100% on weight loss.
But I have been trying to stick to 3 starches a day -- lunch will usually be a veggie and protien -- then 3pm snack is a cereal type bar and then dinner may or may not have a starch.
Anyways -- I'm almost 5 foot 10 -- so I agree that someone as tall as you should not be careful to make sure you are eating enough.

Sorry to butt in here, but can i fix my egg whites in a different way than boiling them? I hate throwing away perfectly boiled yolks...lol!
Can i scramble them?? :D...i would use a cpl sprays of Pam to cook them in.

Yep! I eat them this way every day.
My breakfast for the first 6 months of weight loss was 3 egg whites and a ww pita. Then I added in a glass of skim milk. Then lately, I switched it so I had a full protein for breakfast and a 1/2 protein for lunch (got my motor revving better, and got more fat out of the way earlier in the day), so I added reduced fat peanut butter to my oatmeal.
But now I'm worried about the calories and fat in that, so I tried a new approach today:
scrambled egg whites + one Boca sausage patty (60 cal., a little less than 1/2 P, I think) + 1 oz lite cheese (my milk went bad) + oatmeal (no PB). Cals = approx 250, and a lot less fat.
(Yesterday's breakfast was 3 egg whites, 1 boca patty, diet cran juice, oatmeal w/ a smidge of PB (prob 45 cal). Cals = approx 310.)
So now I have an extra fruit for later in the day, and less fat in the morning.
(I know, this post is hard to follow. Normally I think linearly, but today I'm all over the place.)
Anyway, anyway. Still at 187.0 this morning. At least there wasn't ANOTHER 1/2 lb gain today. I'm frustrated, though. Where's my 184 I had last week?? Why am I up? (Yes, it's PMS time. ARGH! Why does once a month always feel like once a week??)
We're having weather today. I was planning to have dinner with my dad, but now it looks like I'll be leaving work early. Maybe if the sidewalks aren't too bad when I get home, I'll go for a run in the snow. I think I'd like that. Or maybe I'll just hit the gym before the freezing rain starts. Or maybe I'll just take a rest day!
My plan for lunch: salad with 1/2 P of tuna, ww pita, salad spritzer (goal, to use 30 spritzes or fewer), orange. Using 30 spritzes, though fatty, is still better than 90 calories of EVOO in my homemade dressing.
Dinner plan is anyone's guess at this point. More brown rice and fish, I guess!

I did the whole zig zag thing for 11 days and stayed almost exactly the same.

I am just in awe of you & your food choices! I hope when things start looking up for me ($$) i can do just what you do...minus the peanut butter, lol..:P
WOW...a run in the snow!! You are the bomb, gf! I can't even imagine getting my MAIL at this point, & we don't even have snow, lol...just really cold weather.
I was watching the news tonight & saw those places where the snow is like over ten feet high, ohh my word! I can't even imagine being in the midst of all that snow. But i WAS reared primarily in the south..! Can you imagine the flooding that's going to hit when that starts to melt?? That really worries me for the people there!

Your journal looks awesome--i wonder if i could use 1 whole egg & two more egg whites? How would this count? Oh, i always am thinking all over the place, so i understand that as well as linear thinking, lol! No worries!

Hope you had a good day yesterday -- We only had a bit of snow and now sounds like freezing rain -- letting my DH sleep in a bit then will take him to the train a little later this morning -- and will allow extra time.
Well I tried yet another way to get protien in for breakfast -- mized 1 scoop of protien powser (1/2 protien - 40 calories) into my instant apple and cinnimon oatmeal -- counted as a starch, fruit (the oatmeal is 130 cal) and 1/2 protien.
And I can totally relate to that time of the month rolling around so fast again -- was a bit surprised by it last night -- only to count the days and realize it was basically on time.

Yep, we're getting the storm too! Probably in a different way, since I'm close to the snow/ice line, but still nasty. It started yesterday with a few inches of snow, and now it's going back and forth between snow and sleet and freezing rain. I stayed home from work!! I'm in my jammies, and I put on a crockpot meal for dinner later today (cuban pork--pork, onions, garlic, lime juice--yummy). I'll work on my thesis or something today, make up for lost time. I'll have a three day weekend this coming weekend anyway! I can bum around then.
Yeah, I don't know that I'll do the intentional zig-zag. I kinda do it on my own anyway, just by chance. I'm finally losing some of my water weight from earlier this week (I was 187 Monday and yesterday, 185.6 today. 184.2 was my all-time low, last week. Where is it??) Going nuts, but I know it's PMS, cuz MAN, do I have the munchies!!!
Anyway, before I go doing constructive things, i'm gonna watch Springer! Woo!
