Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Jess,

Hope you had a fun date!

Read somewhere you were cleaning your cupboards of non LAWL food -- Good Idea.

I will think of you in the AM when I am getting out of bed early to work out --going to try and add some time to my workouts this week -- increase from 6 to 12 min on the eliptical and do 4 strength training exercises instead of the usual 2.

Hi!

I'm feeling good today. I felt like some of my bloat was gone when I woke up this AM, and I was right. Back down to 185 on my scale. Feeling good. Then I had a pretty good workout. Not GREAT, but pretty good. I ran a mile, then fast-walked a bunch, walked hills for a while, ran anther 1/2 mile at my fast pace, and that's it. I still have a bad blister on my one toe, so I gotta take it easy. Now I'm eating the same stuff I ate yesterday, if I can, since that seemed to help.

And the date went well!! We were out pretty late--didn't want the night to end. And we're going out again tonight. :) I have a good feeling about this one.

Jess,

Glad to hear you had a good day and date.

Guess you must have Monday off -- I'm jealous -- have to work tomorrow -- but going to try and get in early so I don't have to stay too late.

Date #2 also went well! Yay!

Yep, I have off tomorrow, Marg. I'm so sorry you don't, I really am. Good idea to try to get your workday done early in the day. Is that after a big ol' morning workout?

I slept pretty badly last night, and I'm exhausted tonight, so i wonder if maybe I'll take a break from the gym tomorrow and just have a lazy lie-in day. I'm meeting a friend at 1pm, so if I do hit the gym, I'd have to do so by 10am. That seems pretty late, but considering I haven't really gotten a really good sleep-in this weekend, I feel like I should have an unencumbered day all to myself with no schedule. (yes, it's obvious that I'm a single woman who's a little lazy sometimes, isn't it?)

Anyway, hope work is light for ya tomorrow and that the day goes quickly!

And Jacqui, I hope we both do wonders with our "back to basics" food plans! More whole wheat pasta for me!

(Oh, I had my carb craver pizza tonight. Yum!)

Jess,

Pizza sounds Good!

Hope you enjoyed your sleep in.

Got my work-out done -- took about 45 min -- and at least the days are getting longer so getting up at 6 or 6:30 is a little easier.

Enjoy your day off.

Hi Marg!

Did you also get your workout in this morning too? Wow, 45 minutes of workin' out is great!

I did my 15 minutes on the Air Walker this morning. It's a weird workout, and it's definitely not the same as running outside, but at least it's SOMETHING. It definitely woke me up, got me sweaty and had me breathing a little bit harder. Then I did some squats with the swiss ball, and some crunches and pushups. Hey, it's something. I think, though, that the snow/ice should melt a lot today and tomorrow it shouldn't be so cold, so maybe I'll hit the streets for a run instead. I won't be able to hit the gym tonight, and probably only tomorrow night.

Busy week ahead!

185.8 again this morning. My all time low from a week or two ago was 184.2. I'd love to see that again someday, but it seems like my body really wants to settle here at 185.

My new guy (not a boyfriend....yet) thinks I look great the way I am. I love that. :)

Anyway, happy Tuesday!

Hi Jess!

OK, so seeing you've had 2 dates, we'll need something more about this guy so we know what to call him.

Bah. 187.4 this morning. That's TWO pounds up! *loud sounds of frustration*

I had sushi last night. Soy sauce. Miso soup. That'd do it, sodium and water wise. I also had a chocolate or two, because PMS was killin' me. I was insatiable.

I got a 15 minute run in this morning. It was a little icy on the sidewalks, so I stuck to backroads and stayed in the street. Good run! Heart rate way up, sweaty when I got back, feeling awake. Just hope it burned off about 3 lbs of water weight!

New guy....? Well, let's just call him Mr. Midwest, for now. I don't want to jinx anything by telling you anything else. Hopefully, I can feel openly gushy soon enough!

Seeing the doctor today about my possible murmur and/or irregular heartbeat, etc.

Back to the grind.

Jess
