Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Jess,

Weather was not too bad here today just some wet snow -- but the roads were good --got to the store and got yougurts for the week before heading in to work --we have a cafeteria but the prices are high -- $1.30 for a Light and Lively yougurt -- at Trader Joe's most yougurts are 69 cents.

Hope you enjoy the 8 min in the morning program -- did you get the Book -- the one with the yellow cover?

Hope to be back on my workout schedule tomorrow -- skipped today got up later than normal -- but did do leg exercises on Sunday.

Already back down two pounds this morning. Gotta love that water weight fluctuation. Was it Julie who suggested that I not weigh myself every morning? I hear what you're saying, but I really like having that daily barometer of how I'm doing, even when I know I have to account for things like water. :)

Considering doing an hour-long spin class next week. Those, you need to sign up for in advance and pay a dollar. The 1/2 hour spin is great, but I think I'd benefit from an hour-long burn. I'm also thinking I'll ask them about a short burst of personal training sessions for March. See if that'll help change up my body composition since I'm SO stuck.

Then again, I might not be so stuck if I didn't have cake and beer and no water on Saturday, but whatever! :)

Something's gotta give, though. I can only work out so much harder before I collapse, so I gotta work out smarter (hence, the spinning and the personal training). And I can't eat much LESS, and I can't eat much CLEANER (most days). Something's gotta give.

At the same time, I'm still not UNhappy with where I am. Just wish I were closer to 170 than I am, considering I have about 6 more weeks of weight loss to go til my goal date. (Can't believe it!). Actually, ya know what? My friend joined based on my referral, so I think I got $25 credit. Perhaps I can use that to buy more weight loss weeks, if I'm actually losing again at some point. Blech.

Anyway, just thinking out loud. As usual. Chatterbox Jess. :)

Oh, and Marg, yes, it's the yellow cover Jorge Cruise book. I still haven't started it. I should try tomorrow. Gotta get in bed a little earlier at night--I've been late to work a lot lately. (I blame the weather.)

Hope you're all well!

hey, jess. glad the party went SOOOOO well! that is wonderful. and all the compliments you got were amazing. that's terrific. just smile and take it all in. you ROCK!

yeah, sounds like you were VERY dehydrated after the party. anytime you are out and have more than a couple of drinks, try to drink 8-16 oz water right after you get home. it will seriously help you bounce back quicker the next morning with less dehydration.

So what did you end up doing for your workout?

Hi Jacqui!

I did 60 minutes on the arc trainer (880 cals), and then I came home for some pushups and crunches.

I'm debating getting up for a run tomorrow morning, but I think I'm doing spinning in the afternoon, so I might conserve my energy.

Drinking my third liter of water, though I really should be on my fourth. But three is still good.

I've been doing well the past two days with not snacking unintentionally (even Craisins pack a caloric punch, you know), not eating past 7pm, even Jello, and otherwise really eating clean.

(I just realized I'm not smarter than a 5th grader, by the way. Damn.)

Ditto.... depressing isn't it?

Nice work out today.... Take off went ok. I didnot get as much green veggies as I should have though....we'll see what happens when I weigh in Thursday.

186.0 this AM. I can feel my muscles repairing--they're sore. Water retention for healing muscle fibers. Lots of workouts. I just realized that I haven't had a break since 2/21. So, maybe I'll do spinning tonight and then just walk a little. Try to keep it moderate. Wednesday's spin class is always easier anyway. And tomorrow is a rest day. I'll be slugging down the water today, just trying to get my morning number back into 184 territory by tomorrow (shyeah, right).

Next week, I'm going to do long spin and talk to the personal trainers.

Trying to drink my coffee black this morning--so far, I'm not really enjoying it, though I'm tolerating it. I think I decided to drink half of it black and then put my stuff in it when the cup is half empty. I need to take my time adjusting! (Always wanted to be a black coffee drinker--it's easier and it looks cooler. HA!)

*yawn*
