Just to get it started. Red plan, no lites.

7/5, joined up. 253.6 lbs.
7/10, meal plan day. 251.4 lbs.
7/12, first official weigh in. 249.6 lbs. Total loss 4 lbs.
7/19, second official weigh in. 245.8 lbs. Total loss 7.8 lbs.

I had no (official) questions, and she had absolutely nothing to say about my food journal. (Because it's all there, no cheats.)

Now, just gotta do that 39 more times!

Karen, I think the insurance company should cover things like that. I do know of one instance where a patient of mine was married to a person who worked for an insurance company and he would turn down ladies for breast reduction. And what happened was one day a lady came in his office and pulled off her blouse and showed him the dents in her shoulders and how big she was and he approved reductions after that. LOL

Jo who hopes the water exercise will help my skin to go down as I lose. If not I may have to fight for surgery too.

Yeah, good weekend ahead! Good start so far.

At Baja Fresh? I wrote in my book that I had salad. And though I know y'all will burn me at the stake, I admit that I actually had Tres Tacos, with two fish tacos and one steak taco. You see, the salad is NOT AT ALL satisfying, at least not as the menu book wants you to have it. It's so plain, and you certainly don't get enough protein. And any other options have way too much sodium, fat, and calories. So, having looked at the nutritional info, I chose the tacos b/c they're low fat and not terrible on calories or sodium.

I drank a liter of water when I got home.

And I weighed in at 184.2 this morning, which is a return to my lowest-ever weight. So...maybe I can hit the 183.8 soon?

Anyway, having some egg whites and salad and bell pepper, and then who knows what I'll havae on my date. I'll make sure to have a liter of water before bed. That definitely seemed to help.

Hope you all are doing well!

Well, no date.

He cancelled on me last minute. I'm thinking it's more than "i'm not feeling well" like he said.

I'm a princess. I'm a princess. I'm a princess.

(I'm a sad princess.)

So, no dinner plans. I have some ground buffalo in the fridge, so I think I'm going to make buffalo burgers and put them on ww pita with some salsa or something. At least the upside of getting stood up is that I can control my menu better.

Boohoo.

Prince, frog, bah. I have no idea. I'll wait to see how he plays his cards in the next day or two. But, I have other options and i think I'll keep moving. See what happens.

Good news this morning, however, is that I hit my final mini-goal on my way to my final goal! I FINALLY got my 183.8! Even better, I got 183.6!! Yay! I'm no longer overweight!! my BMI is normal!

I have no idea if this is just a fluke or if the scale's finally moving again, but I'm going to keep up what I've been doing, which was eating more and drinking an entire liter of water just before bed.

Good workout today. 45 minutes arc trainer and 25 minutes treadmill. I can now speedwalk at 4.7 with little issue. Funny. Cuz 7 years ago, I could do 3.7 with huffing and puffing.

Meeting a friend for brunch in about an hour. I'm eating some veggie soup and cucumbers before we meet so I'm not RAVENOUS. I'm going to get an egg white omelette with mushrooms and spinach and cheese, and the healthiest starch I can muster up. Yum!

Thanks Karen and Jacqui!

Yep, this is the last mini goal, and the next goal is THE FINAL GOAL of 170.

Recap:
Goal#1: 239 lbs (lower than the lowest weight I achieved on my own)
Goal#2: 228 lbs (10% of starting body weight lost)
Goal#3: 220 (BMI no longer "obese", now "overweight")
Goal#4: 211.8 (halfway point)
Goal#5: 199.8 (under 200!)
Goal#6: 183.8 (BMI no longer "overweight", now "normal")
Goal#7: 170 (FINAL GOAL)

I had a mushroom/spinach/cheese egg white omelette, wheat toast, and hashbrowns. Yep, that burned all my starches for the day and then some, but considering the success I've had the past few days (eating more), I think it's okay. Dinner will be veggies and fruits, no starches. Not hungry for dinner yet anyway, cuz brunch was late and large. Probably good.

B: none, sleeping and working out
pre-brunch: pepper/cauliflower soup, cucumbers w/ lite ranch dressing, string cheese
Brunch/"Linner": egg white omelette with cheese, mushrooms, spinach, wheat toast, hashbrowns
D: probably a salad and egg whites, with some berries for dessert
Workout: 45 arc trainer, 25 treadmill, pushups/etc.

Jess,

CONGRATULATIONS on hitting your 2nd to last goal! A normal BMI that is fantastic!

Your cauliflower/pepper soup sounds good -- is that something homemade or store-bought?
