Just wanted to let you in on a couple things that I've been trying. I was diagnosed with psoriasis about a month ago. Since then, I've vowed that I wouldn't let this thing take me over! Of course, at first, I was very disheartened...but now I've been trying my best to adopt a better attitude. Anyways, I've been using every resource I could get my hands on to try to find ways that would better the psoriasis. My psoriasis is blotchy, and is sporatic on all different parts of my body. My mother also has psoriasis, and hers is extremely severe. I read about "slippery elm bark" and "american saffron tea" as a means of trying to cleanse the system from the inside, thereby helping the outside (your skin). I've been drinking the slippery elm (which you can find in powder form and put in tea) twice a day, every day. Put it this way....my mother and I are seeing improvement (knock on wood!!!!) :). So, just figured I would share, for all you psoriasis sufferers that are looking for ways to beat this thing by doing more than experimenting on countless amounts of creams! I can't even tell you how much money I have invested in CVS lately!!!! :) :)
