(1) I will stick with my exercise plan developed last month which includes 15 minutes of aerobic-type exercise, 15 minutes of weights for upper body, and 15 minutes of calisthenic-type exercise and stretches.
(2) I will not eat after 7:00 pm (I know that's not exercise related but I thought you'd keep me accountable!).
If you want to email me, it is different than what iVillage has because, for some reason, it won't let me change it in my account. Here's the correct email: shinderlider@comcast.net.
My weekend went well, I hope both of yours did. I actually got a bit sick this morning, I think it might have been something that I ate at a restuarant yesterday, so my eating hasn't been the greatest today. (didn't really eat much of anything besides some toast and ginger ale) However, I'm feeling better now, and I am hoping to get back on my exercise and eating plan tomarrow. My plans for the week:
1. Work out at least 4 times this week, at the minimum. Two days cardio, and two days strength training. 2. Try to drink more water. (My water intake lately has been pitiful) 3. Be aware of everything that I am eating.
I'm looking forward to checking in with both of you! I am so excited to have people to keep me accountable. Good luck this week! -Kati
Today went pretty good for me. I managed to get to the gym right after work, and run my two miles. That takes care of my cardio! I was hoping to do more, but I was really pressed for time, since I had to meet my fiance to finish registering, and then go see his little sister perform at her high school dance show.
I also drank SOME water today (which sadly is better than most days.) I took a couple drinks while I was at the gym, as well as part of a water bottle when we were registering, and then part of a vitamin water with dinner.
I also did well at watching everything that I ate, I am trying to keep my calories around the 1200 mark, since I do have a wedding dress I must fit into ;) I hope the day was as good for both of you. It was nice knowing that I should come here and report about my day. It helped to keep me on track. Here's hoping that tomarrow is another day like today! -Kati
Hi Kati & Monica - Sorry I've not been around but my computer was "hijacked" and I just got it back. I've done pretty well the last three days with my eating and exercise. It's been raining for the past 4 days so I had no excuse not to stay in and do my workout! My weigh-in day in Wednesday and I've posted my weekly report in the list. Tomorrow will be interesting because I am going to a luncheon at noon tomorrow and a friend's 50th birthday party tomorrow evening. I've banked some points so I hope I'll be alright.
Well, I've done OK with my points and exercise for the past three days. The not eating after 7:00 pm has been harder because I was involved in VBS at one of the churches where I work. There was always a snack and something to nibble on. Tonight I'm going to a birthday party and I know we won't be eating until after 7:00 pm. But after tonight I should be able to get on track with that. I want a star on my challenge calendar!!!
Well yesterday I did good with my food, and with my water. I also weighed in for the first time in two weeks. 129.4!!!!! HOORAY!!! I had been stuck at 133 for about a month. I was begining to think that I just wouldn't be able to lose any more. But these past two weeks, I was really on top of my eating and exercise, and I finally broke my plateau! Only 9.4 more lbs to go until I am at my goal weight! I am so proud. Unfortunately I didn't get in a workout yesterday. I went to work, and went apartment hunting with my fiance, and by the time I got home, I was far too drained to do anything but go to sleep. But today is a new day, and my eating has been great so far, haven't gotten any water in yet though. I am planning on going to the gym in just a little bit to get in my cardio. I hope the day is going well for you girls! -Kati
