Hi Coli!

Looks like we're teamed up for this week! I've been doing, well, not too bad but could be doing a lot better.

Here's my personal challenge for the week:

(1) No eating after 7:00 pm.
(2) Daily exercise plan:
- 30 minutes of aerobic exercise
- 15 minutes of weights
(3) Work on budget to see if I can afford to return to Curves during these hot summer months when I can't get out and walk because of the heat & humidity.

You're charged with the task of kickin' my butt!!!

LOL...I think we're twins....we're about the same height, your highest weight isn't much lower than mine (altho I go by a weight written on my medical charts that I don't believe was read correctly, but it's not FAR off from where I think I got up to :\ ) and I remember someone mentioning Curves, and if it wasn't you, well, that's my main form of strength training exercise.

Whew, Coli! You make me tired just reading your post. You're one busy gal! As for the baseball game, you can get your exercise by cheering for both teams .... then the home fans will chase you out of the stadium .... just think about all those steps!!!

Monday was OK and today I'm doing great. I just need to get my exercise in before bed. Tomorrow is weigh-in (otherwise known as doomsday - LOL) and I hope I'm down at least a pound from last week.

LOL....It's been a while since I had such a rambling post, I guess ;) Sorry I exhausted you...too bad that doesn't count as exercise!


Funny thing, I WILL be cheering for both teams, in a round-about way. The Mariners are playing the Mets and one of my favorite players, Mike Cameron, now plays for the Mets and we're sitting in right field, where he plays.

Got my exercise in and ate ok. about 30 minutes walking around the neighborhood with my friend and her toddler. We got caught in a hailstorm, but we sought shelter under a carport. All in all a good day :)

Well, I did not exercise last night - that's why I need to go back to Curves. If I'm paying for it, I'm more likely to do it!

I did lose 1.5 pounds last week so I'm doing something right!

1.5 pounds of loss is PERFECT! if you could do that every week....how long would it take you to reach your goal? NOT LONG AT ALL! and it's a nice, healthy rate.

Well, I've done great with my caloric intake the past two days. If I can only keep it up. I wish I could say the same for my exercise but I did go over and sign up at Curves and will start tomorrow morning. My plan is M-W-F. That way, if the lazys continue to plague me, I will at least have 3 days of a great workout. It was really embarrassing to have my measurements taken and see how much they've increased in 9 months since I was last there. The weight, too. But it was more of an incentive to get back on track. I decided to sign up for the bank draft method since it saves $10 a month.

I TOTALLY understand Sue! I need so much motivation these days. Curves is my steady, despite skipping last night. But we went for a walk instead. And I've already been for a walk today. My office building is basically on top of a hill.

Coli - I hope your weekend is off to a healthier start than mine! I did go to Curves yesterday morning but started back trying to do the same pace I did when I quit 9 months ago. I ended up really ill so plan to only do one rotation when I go next week on MWF, then up it to two the next week, and finally back to the three.

I went to a birthday party last night and pigged out! I had been really careful about saving points for the party but I know I didn't save that many!

I'm a little worried because my church is having a fish fry tonight and I don't want to overeat two days in a row. I'm going to try and eat a small amount of each food instead of piling my plate and going back for seconds like I did last night.

I'll be gone tomorrow but will check in on Monday!

My weekend was ok, I guess. Friday night, I made an emergency appointment with the eye doc because while I don't have glasses or contacts, I have this severely annoying and painful ailment that involves a mutation...LOL...I have a second row of eyelashes on my eyelid that grow under the main row and end up growing towards my eye and making contact which causes pain. three years ago, I went to my regular doc who thought it might be an infection. The eye doc ended up pulling out three pesky lashes. I started getting the pain again on Wednesday and while I thought I could live thru it, by 2:30 on Friday, I was in so much annoying pain (not killing me, but since it's my eyes, I was rubbing and trying to pull the dang things out myself!) that I called and while the other doc wasn't it, they had a 4pm appointment. I ended up sitting in the waiting room for 45 minutes, but that's what I expect and so we got a late start to the baseball game. so we hit Arby's instead of waiting to get the stadium. When we got there tho, DH wanted to hit the Seahawks team store to get a t-shirt for his dad for today so we trucked over and then trucked back...getting lots of fast walking in. Had fun, M's won...WOHOO!


Saturday we got up, got ready and hit the road for the inlaws. We stopped about 90 minutes into the drive at the Centralia, WA Curves so I could workout. Was fun, got in a great workout and we grabbed lunch at Wendy's.....got to the inlaws and thought we would be eating at 4pm. so thinking that was true, I didn't eat much of the snacks that were out. We ended up eating at 7pm....yeah, almost 8 hours since I ate lunch which is BAD BAD BAD!!! Wasn't happy, but can't turn back the clock. I didn't eat too much (turkey, mashed potatoes and corn, and not a whole lot because I CAN control my portions unlike the other 9 people who were there...especially his mom!) but I didn't feel well and I was super tired. so I went to lie down for a few minutes and ended up basically sleeping until 8am this morning. Guess I needed it! Sleep was hard to get tho because a) we were sleeping in a queen when we're used to a king (this if the first time we've shared a bed at the inlaws because before, we weren't married and well, despite living together for almost 6 years, no way, not under their roof, LOL denial...it's not a river in egypt ya know ;) and b) it wasn't the brand of mattress we're used to, our wonderful beautyrest that doesn't make you FEEL when the other person is tossing and turning. There were times when I thought I was going to bounce out of bed. we're not light people, so a bouncy mattress is NOT a good thing! LOL So we got up and I had a slice of cake and milk for breakfast. Then a donut after Church. Then we had pizza for lunch. Oh and some strawberries. And then we stopped at Long John Silvers (one of the things I miss from "back home" in illinois, only the chicken planks but still) so we got a few for the road....then we stopped and at dinner a few hours later and now we're home, and I'm about to go to bed. So I probably ate less than I could have, but it wasn't good for me ;) I wanted Thai for lunch, and that way I would have gotten at least a single serving of veggies, but alas, pizza it was, and mediochre pizza at that! LOL if I'm gonna have pizza, I want GOOD pizza!!! LOL


Monday is just in a few hours so it can only get better!!!!!!
