I work out at home. I use my treadmill 3x a week for about 50 minutes. I try to keep the treadmill on a good incline to work on my legs and behind area. I also use free weights at home 3x a week. I should probably upgrade to some heavier weights, but I just haven't gotten around to buying them.
So far, this routine has been effective for me. I'm almost to my goal weight (again).
I have quite a few videos, but I haven't used them in awhile. One of the more interesting ones is a New York City Ballet workout - I should try that one again.
Great question! I love walking outdoors and do so when it is not summer (I can't handle the heat and humidity ... and the mosquito population). I do the Walk Away the Pounds video 3 days a week plus some stretching and weights. I just rejoined Curves which I will do 3 days a week.
Of course, my self-discipline leaves a lot to be desired when I am doing the indoor exercises and often gets "cast aside" for reading or watching TV. That's why I went back to Curves; I don't want to throw away $29 a month!!!
Lol "I used to buy DVDs and videos and just watch them while I sat on the sofa and ate Cheetohs!"
That's pretty much what I do! Seriously I'm trying to walk everyday 30 minutes and some toning too. I have some dvd but I just can't get myself to actually do them.
I go to Curves 3 times a week and try to get as much other cardio as I can (20-30 minutes after each visit to Curves plus 45-60 minutes on other days. I just started walking down the hill to the supermarket at lunch on Tuesday and Thursday, about 30 minutes and the hill is KILLER! already feel positive things in my legs! And I know the weight will start coming off as soon as I start eating better. The combo is the only thing that works for me.
My exercise has been in the form of working on our house we are in the middle of building a new house so I have been getting ALOT more exercise than usual. If I exercise at home I use my treadmill mostly but I also have a stepper, weights, some video's(TeaBo is my favorite),and some other things but mostly my treadmill and the stepper.

Congratulations Monica on having enough discipline to work out at home!

Undone,

I would have to say that Tae bo and The Firm seem to be the most popular home videos for working out.
