I see that all the time when I go to the beach and I think to myself, "How do they feel comfortable doing that???" I wear a two piece to the beach as well and I feel totally uncomfortable and I'm 122lbs, I have a little lower belly and OMG thats all I think about when I take my cover up off. I keep thinking, "OMG people are staring at me in disgust" or "Are people starting to runaway from me yet cos they are scared?" I applaud woman who are big and wear a 2 piece and are completely comfortable with their bodies they have more guts than I do.

To me, it depends on the woman. Some women really do look very attractive "big" and can pull off the two piece, but most women go to far. Right now, I won't even get into a swimsuit in public (I did got hot tubbing with Ryan while we watched his aunts house). I do think that it's admirable that those women have the self-confidence to wear those suits, but you've got to draw the line somewhere. I do think we live in a society where modesty is HIGHLY underrated.

Monica, if you want to get your belly button pierced, go for it! Just because you have a piercing doesn't mean that you have to show it off until you want to. Ryan's best friend's mom got her belly button pierced to help motivate her weight loss (she's doing great) because she wanted to be able to show it off!!

I wouldn't be caught dead in a two-piece, but my body has NEVER lended to wearing one (no flat tummy etc) but if someone does feel comfortable in it, I might not think it's attractive, but that's my problem. I'm always seeing people wearing things that don't flatter their figure and I always want to tell them so, but it's just not my place and a slap in the face would probably follow my comments. I'm certainly not a fashion queen, but I do know what doesn't look good on me and try my hardest to avoid those thing.

for the record, I don't even own a bathing suit that fits, so that tells you how often I go swimming ;)

As for extra piercings, I have a few friends who look ADORABLE with simple studs in their nose or belly button, but that doesn't mean I'd do it. It's a total personal taste thing and if you want to and feel comfortable, go for it! it's like a tattoo that you get in a place that not many people will ever see, you're doing it for you and you don't EVER have to even tell anyone you've got it, unless you want to :)

Have a GREAT workout!

Personally I think that its a double edge sword.

On one side who said that just because you don't look like a babie doll you shouldn't be able to wear sexy clothes ? Why should women have to look a certain way to wear what they want I mean if they feel sexy and are comfortable that should be good enough just because someone else doesnt like what they look like shouldn't mean that they should change their clothes.

But on the other side I wouldn't be caught dead in a 2 peice right now and I agree that some woman go to far and some really do look foolish and they should cover up alittle more I mean why would you want to put yourself out there like that so people can make fun of you and don't kid yourself people do make fun of larger woman.

Anyway I honestly think if a woman feels comfortable enough to wear it than go ahead.
