yesterday I went to Curves and then walked on the treadmill for about 10 minutes (I must have taken longer at Curves, chatting after my workout, than I thought and DH was almost done with his workout when I got back to the other gym).


Today it's straight cardio at the gym. The class we used to take on Tuesdays has the teacher we liked back (she had an injury and left in January or February and the replacement was totally different and not to our liking.) so we may or may not do that. I'm really not in the same shape as when she quit teaching the class, so it might take me a little bit of effort to get back up to speed. So today, probably 30-45 minutes on the elliptical and then 20-30 minutes on the treadmill.

I did my usual 2 mile fast walk. This is what I will be doing to take off the weight. When I loose the weight I want I will start the sculpting and firming stuff.

If it EVER gets to be a normal temperature in this wee apartment of mine, I will use my treadmill again...........It is being used right now BUT by my cat, she has taken to sleeping on it.........LOL


Good for something I spose, well besides collecting dust

I did my usually hour of cardio and 60 sit ups. My abs are killing today cos I've been doing the intense ones where you cant go back to the floor. I feel great, my body just feels great and its only been a week :)I'm gonna keep on truckin on the workout so I can get a toned tummy!!!

Tell me about Tae Bo, is it good? I used to do Taekwondo, and was in such awesome shape. I miss it, but it isn't feasible right now given our finances and the little one. I have thought about it trying, but don't want to buy the video without some real people testimonials!!! How do you like it?

No, I've been so lazy. Right now, I'm only walking with my son in the stroller, but I get sick of the same route. I want to start driving to my mil's neighborhood, as it is very hilly and shaded by trees. I just get this "I don't want to go anywhere" attitude as my excuse. But today we walked around downtown for hours, so hopefully that counts for something. Seeing the pictures we took on our outing today is good motivation!!! I just know I can look and feel so much better.

I didn't get my workout in either. DH called and said our wedding photos from the pro were ready to be picked up, so we went to do that after work, then grabbed lunch and then went to find a birthday present for our friends' soon-to-be 2-year-old. Got him a nice Graeme Base picture book :) We walked around at the mall a little bit, but not enough to call it exercise. We did, however, avoid Cold Stone, so that was a feat!!!
