Looking for blatant truth

I delivered 9 months ago. And I never started getting serious on diet/excercise till about 2 months ago. For the last 2 months I have tried to be off carbs and have been working out 5 times a day for half hour on the treadmill and got down from a 150 lbs to 140 lbs. Well, good news. But then, I'm aiming at going to 125, which was my pre-pregnancy weight. Now, although my friends and family encourage me, they say that I'm never going to be able to get to my pre-pregnancy weight since my body has now changed forever after the baby. Is that the blatant truth ? I somehow find that hard to digest - that I'm never going to fit into my nice clothes again !

Don't lose hope.
Losing weight is a science. Your family telling you that you'll never going to your pre-pregnancy weight is inaccurate. As long as you burn more calories than what you consume in a day, you will lose weight. This is easier said than done. This takes time, so don't be discouraged if the results don't come quickly. Depending on your height and weight you may not lose as much weight per month than someone taller and wider than you.
My sister has had 3 children and after 6 months she gets back to her pre-pregnancy weight. If it's possible for my sister then it is possible for you two.
I grew up with my brothers and sisters making fun of my weight and always criticizing the way that I ate, but I was able to ignore these negative vibes. Families mean well, but they can be a little insensitive sometimes. In my case, it's most of the time.
Good luck!
Hi and Welcome,
I don't believe it and either should you.
