Some1 w/ Q about Green Tea?

I started drinking green tea when i found out about it's antioxidant benefits. I also wanted to have a kind of evening ritual before going to bed--beside taking a bag of cookies with me ;)
I am a tea drinker anyhow and have never done coffee. I like Celestial Seasonings so I picked their Honey Lemon Ginseng Green tea for the morning pick me up and the decaf for evening bedtime. I noticed that, within the first week I wasn't eating as much. By the second week, I was forcing myself to eat. Now, a can of progresso soup (100-200 cal per serving) is about all I want for lunch. I still eat a good dinner-balanced and smaller portions satisfy me. I am choosing the sensible snack pouches--sandies shortbread cookies are my pick right now. Since my initial loss of 2-3 pds and gaining it back. I've kept off 8 lbs so far. This is the best I've done in over 2 years! I am definitely sticking to this tea thing, I happened to stumble onto what my body needed to get the urge to eat under control. I didn't know about the appetite suppressant factors. The ginseng added may have made a difference as well. I sweeten my tea with Splenda or nothing at all. I haven't had my evening cup in a couple of weeks, but I've been making my a.m. tea extra strong lately.
